The Royal Spa Centre On Newbold Terrace, is a purpose built theatre and was opened in 1972 by Anthony Eden, the former Prime Minister and MP for Leamington Spa and Warwick. It has a main stage auditorium with 667 seats and a Studio with 188 seats, which also operates as a cinema. In 2011 major refurbishment works totally transformed the foyers and auditorium seating of the Royal Spa Centre, making

it an extremely intimate and comfortable venue to visit. Changes were also made to the programme of performances - attracting a diverse range of entertainment to the venue. In August 2012, the Royal Spa Centre & Town Hall had a change of management and we continue to work hard to implement many initiatives that place our customers firmly at the core of what we do. One, the Council Chamber is still used as such by Warwick District Council and the second, The Assembly Hall, is a 250 seat performance space used for a wide range of performances, hirings and events by local groups. The Town Hall is also one of the most iconic and historic buildings on The Parade. Easily recognisable due to its distinctive clock tower, it is a popular venue for community events, meetings and functions and is also the home of Royal Leamington Spa Town Council, The University of Warwick Learning Grid and Bromford Support.

After many years of giving his wonderful lecture talks of his he does, Count Arthur Strong has at last bowed to substantial p***c demand and allowed himself be talked into making the show about himself for once. And that had never occurred to him before because of him being highly magnanimous.

From his breakthrough Edinburgh Fringe show ‘Forgotten Egypt’ in 2002, to talking about himself in 2022. Arthur has two decades of memories from his ten national tours,15 years of his multi Award winning radio show and three series of his BAFTA nominated TV sitcom.

🐈SORRY, BABY🐈

15

Something bad happened to Agnes. But life goes on… for everyone around her, at
least.

Blending heartache, humour and healing, SORRY, BABY is the stunning and
star-making debut from director, writer and actor Eva Victor, also starring Naomi
Ackie and Lucas Hedges.

As sharp as it is tender, SORRY, BABY is a quietly powerful tale of seizing back your
footing after pain, and of the friendships that sustain you along the way.

An authentic, bitingly funny drama that marks the arrival of a brilliant new voice in
cinema.

“Remarkable” - The New Yorker

“Phenomenal” - The Hollywood Reporter

“A triumph” - Financial times
