Bute Fold Coo Encounters

17/10/2026

💛 A LITTLE UPDATE FROM THE ISLE OF BUTE FOLD 🐮

First of all, a big apology for the radio silence lately! 🙈

After a very busy season of showing our coos, welcoming you all for your coo encounters, and juggling everything alongside our NHS jobs, our staff (and our four-legged stars!) have been enjoying a well-earned break and a little holiday. 🐮💤

As much as we love what we do, even our coos deserve a wee rest after all their hard work winning rosettes and stealing hearts! 🏵️❤️

But don’t worry… we’ll be back with more coo cuddles before you know it! 🥰

👀 Keep your eyes peeled, as our November and December availability will be released very soon! If you’re hoping to visit us before Christmas, keep watching our page for dates and booking information.

And… 🤫 we might just have a little surprise from the coos to share with you all soon… a hint of our newest adventure! 🐮✨

We’re so excited to share more when the time is right!

Thank you all for your continued support, patience and love for our hairy bunch. We can’t wait to welcome you back to the fold! 💛

🐮 We’ve been a little quiet...

Firstly, we’d like to apologise for the lack of posts recently! It’s been a very busy few weeks for us showing our beautiful Highland Cows 🐮 and while we’ve loved every minute of it, social media has taken a bit of a back seat.

July is looking just as busy, so our availability for Highland Coo Encounters is now very limited.

We currently only have limited spots available on :

📅 6th July
📅 21st July
📅 24th July

If you’ve been thinking about booking a Highland Coo Encounter, now’s the perfect time to get in touch before these dates are gone!

Thank you all so much for your continued support—we’re looking forward to sharing photos and updates from the shows over the coming weeks. 💛 🐮

🚜🐮 JUNE UPDATE FROM ISLE OF BUTE FOLD 🐮🚜
Just a little update for all our lovely followers — due to work commitments and a very busy show month for us and the coos, we’ll only have limited Highland Cow Encounter spaces available throughout June. We will still try our very best to accommodate everyone where we can. 💛

Show season has started off with a bang and we’re so proud to say our beautiful 3-year-old heifer took Highland Champion at her latest show! 🏆 🐮 What an amazing start to the season for the fold.

We’ll also be away supporting the Royal Highland Show, the largest agricultural show in Scotland, where our very own Cuailean 4th of Isle of Bute will be returning to the ring 🤞🏆

Don’t worry though — we’ll have plenty of encounters running throughout the summer holidays and we can’t wait to welcome you all back to the farm for cuddles, grooming, photos and walks with the coos. ☀️📸

Thank you all for your continued support and good luck to everyone attending the summer shows! 💛 🐮
