A great couple of days spent at the Cedabond Showcase Exhibition & Awards Dinner.

We were delighted to have been named a finalist for both the Member Engagement Award, as well the prestigious Apex Award — an award recognising Cedabond’s top-performing member throughout the year.

It was a thoroughly enjoyable event and a great opportunity to spend time with colleagues and friends from across the industry.

To finish the event by being announced as the winner of the highly coveted Apex Award was a proud moment for the team.

Keith brings 30 years’ experience and knowledge gained within the foodservice equipment sector to the business.

His skills, industry knowledge and upbeat demeanour will be a great asset to the team, and we’re looking forward to the positive impact he’ll make as he settles into the role.

Many thanks to Richard and the team at MKN for their generous hospitality and a very interesting visit. As is so often the case during a visit to MKN we were introduced to several new and exciting innovations and industry firsts in cooking technology. MKN are this year celebrating their 80th anniversary as we celebrate our 70th. It was thought provoking as to how our companies had both grown and evolved over the past twenty plus years we have built our strong working relationship.

We are delighted to welcome onboard Adrian Watson who joins us today as Senior Business Development Manager. Adrian has a wealth of experience, having spent much of his earlier career dedicated to achieving the very highest standards from behind the stove. As a chef Adrian has worked in a number of highly accredited restaurants including working with Terry Laybourne at 21 Queen St, Café 21, Brasserie 21 and Bistro 21 as well as several other highly regarded multiple rosette and Michelin Star establishments. In addition, Adrian has had many years’ managerial experience with multi-site foodservice operators, successfully developing and growing the business.

Having moved out of the kitchen ten years ago Adrian has successfully combined his vast culinary knowledge with a keen eye for detail into the design and implementation of many highly efficient and award-winning kitchen projects across the UK.

Highly regarded within the industry we are thrilled to have Adrian on board, he will no doubt be a great asset to the team and we wish him all the best for the future.
