The Ruddle Centre, Braithwell Bar open every Mon, Wed, Fri (from 5pm) and Sunday (From 3pm)

Private bookings taken Recently refurbished, fully decorated and with a new bar installed.

The Ruddle Centre has a welcoming, comfortable village bar for a quiet drink or a large party with a beautiful patio terrace overlooking the bowling green and Church. We are a community, leisure and sports facility located in the heart of Braithwell. The bar is open to all on Monday,Wednesday,and Friday evenings and Sundays from 2pm onward and the profits from this contribute greatly to the upkeep

We have a wonderful south facing two tier patio overlooking our top class bowling green with the Parish Church in the background. The patios have plenty of tables and chairs and even a water feature

Brick built large wood fired pizza oven

The hall can cater for up to 100 seated at round tables and we have plenty on the fields for marquees for the larger events

Our mission is simple - to be a premier venue for the benefit of the whole community. The Hall and Patio area is available for hire with preference give to residents of Braithwell and Micklebring

Monday to Friday 10am – 4pm plus weekends during holiday periods
£100 Flat Fee

Available between mid-day and 23.30 hrs any days except Tuesday and Thursday

The field is also available to hire with parking. For all enquiries please indicate the purpose of the party, the likely numbers attending and whether or not the bar facility is needed

For information - The Ruddle Bar will only be open to locals between 4pm and 6pm this Friday due to a private engagement party with 120 guests beginning around 6.30pm. Any local users please respect the privacy of those making that booking, and leave in a timely fashion.

This booking was taken in January when the committee were under pressure to balance the books so to speak, but happily as the year has unfolded the rapid increase in private bookings for weddings, engagements and adult birthday parties has meant that we shall no longer be taking private bookings on Fridays or Sundays when so many local people enjoy using the bar,

This decision was taken by the BMRLA and so we apologise to any locals being inconvenienced this Friday ( so don't give Steve or Linda any grief !! )

There are only 2 upcoming occasions when the place will be private on a Friday but after that it will then always be open.

We would all like to thanks the many locals who support the Ruddle Bar and its great to see the numbers constantly increasing week on week.
