A post I never thought I’d be writing…

As many of you know, the last few weeks haven’t quite gone to plan. What we thought were a few repairs turned into discovering major issues underneath the trailer, meaning unexpected work was needed just to make it safe to tow.

After a lot of thought, we’ve decided to set up a Crowdfunder to help us get Gather & Grind over the finish line.

The trailer might be in for some much-needed repairs, but that doesn’t mean the grind stops.

This isn’t the update I was hoping to share… 💔☕

After having the trailer properly inspected, we’ve found more issues underneath than we ever imagined. As disappointing as it is, the trailer simply isn’t safe to tow, which means I’ve had to cancel our first event on 26th July.

I’m absolutely gutted. We were so excited to finally open the hatch and meet so many of you.

But if there’s one thing this journey has taught me, it’s that setbacks happen. I’d much rather take a little longer, get everything done properly, and open knowing Gather & Grind is safe and built to last.

Thank you to everyone who’s supported us so far, and a huge thank you to for being so honest and helpful throughout.

This isn’t the end—it’s just a little bump in the road.

I’ll keep going, keep working hard, and I’ll be back with an opening date as soon as I can. 🤎☕
