We absolutely loved welcoming Rebecca from Herb Whisperer to the market for the first time last month, and honestly, it felt like she had always been part of the community.

From the moment the doors opened, people were naturally drawn over to her stall. The beautiful herbal aromas coming from her teas, balms, and handcrafted products were almost impossible to walk past without stopping for a closer look. There was such a calm, comforting feel around her space all day, and it was lovely watching customers chat with her and discover more about what she offers.

Rebecca is a qualified medical herbalist with over 20 years’ experience as a mental health nurse specialising in addictions, and that grounded, caring nature really comes through in the way she speaks to people and shares her knowledge.

Herb Whisperer brings together herbal teas, balms, propolis products, and thoughtful wellbeing items, all with a real sense of care and understanding behind them, and we’re so pleased to have Rebecca joining us again for the June fayre ✨

Some people come into your life through business and slowly become so much more than that, and that’s exactly what Nicky from Angelic Ripples has been for us over the years.

From the very early days of the markets, Nicky has been one of the constants — not only supporting our events as a trader, but also supporting us personally behind the scenes more than she probably realises. Through all the ups and downs that naturally come with running a small business and growing a community space, she has always been someone we’ve been able to talk openly and honestly with.

Nicky has this wonderfully calming way about her, and whether it’s through her Angel and Crystal Readings, Crystal Healing, Angel Therapy, or simply a conversation over a cuppa, she has a way of helping people feel more grounded and reassured. In many ways, she has been one of the guiding lights helping us stay true to the kind of welcoming, supportive community we always hoped these events would become.

We honestly feel very grateful to have Angelic Ripples as part of this journey, not just as a stallholder, but as a genuine friend too ✨

It has been such a lovely experience watching Leesa slowly grow Oak Tree Healing into what it is becoming today.

Over the years, many of you will have seen her journey naturally unfold through the Moonstone community, and it’s been wonderful seeing her confidence grow as she’s stepped further into sharing Reiki with others. Now offering Reiki healing and Crystal Reiki, Leesa brings such a calm and thoughtful energy to her work, and it’s clear how much genuine care sits behind everything she does.

One of the nicest things for us has been being able to support that growth not only through the markets, but also within the shop itself. Having Leesa’s leaflets available in-store has opened up so many conversations with customers wanting to learn more about Reiki, ask questions, and discover what these treatments can offer in an approachable and welcoming way.

Supporting local practitioners as they grow is such an important part of what these events and the shop are about, and we’re really proud to have Oak Tree Healing joining us again for the June fayre ✨

Kayleigh and Beary Crafty have been part of many Moonstone events before, and it’s lovely to welcome them back again.

They create handmade wire gemstone jewellery, decorative bottles, and crystal healing bags designed for different needs.

What makes Beary Crafty especially special is that 25% of all profits are donated to White Rock Bear Shelter, helping wolves and bears from private ownership and circus life move towards better lives.

It’s always lovely to see a small business creating with care while also supporting a cause close to their heart.

Kieran has been part of our market journey since the very early days at Dukes Mill, and it’s been amazing watching The Wyrms Emporium grow alongside the markets over the years.

As the independent leather crafter behind the business, Kieran creates handmade leather pieces that really showcase the artistic side of traditional leathercraft. Everything has its own individual character, and there’s something incredibly satisfying about seeing such a timeless craft used with so much creativity and skill.

Not long after meeting Kieran through the markets, we also brought some of their leatherwork into the Moonstone shop — including the now very famous little leather ghosts, which have honestly become one of our best sellers ever since. People absolutely adore them, and it’s easy to see why.

Supporting local makers both through the markets and within the shop is something we care deeply about, and Kieran’s work has become such a lovely part of that. It’s been a real privilege to watch their creativity, confidence, and customer following continue to grow from those early Dukes Mill days to where they are now.

One of the nicest things about running these markets has been getting to know the people behind the stalls beyond just what they sell or offer — and Ken is a brilliant example of that.

While many of you will know Ken through his work as a psychic medium, it’s actually been so much fun discovering his creative side outside of mediumship too. Over the last few months, we’ve had the chance to chat properly and even help play test one of the games he’s been developing, which was honestly such a laugh and something completely different from what we expected when we first met him through the markets.

It’s those moments that really make this community feel special — learning about people’s passions, ideas, and talents outside of the event days themselves.

Alongside all of this creativity, Ken has worked as a professional psychic medium for over 15 years, offering guidance, support, and connection through his readings. His calm and approachable nature has made him a really valued part of the fayre, and we’re so pleased to have him joining us again for June ✨

One thing we’ve really enjoyed about having Kara from Silent Liberation at our events is seeing how she interacts with the customers and how warm, open and approachable she is.

Every market seems to bring something new, whether that’s different tools, fresh ideas, or new ways for people to experience the work she offers. It’s been lovely watching her creativity and confidence, and seeing visitors connect so naturally with what she does.

Kara brings together aura reading, Reiki, meditation, yoga, and her background in clinical psychology in a way that feels both thoughtful and honestly inclusive. Her work is centred around helping people better understand themselves and where they currently are in life, using intuition and guidance to create a clearer picture moving forward.

There’s a really calm and reflective atmosphere around Kara’s space, and we’re so pleased to have Silent Liberation joining us again for the June fayre ✨

Jess from JustJess Art has been part of our markets since the early days, and one of the nicest things has been seeing how her creativity continues to evolve every single time she joins us.

Jessica works predominantly with acrylics, but also loves needle felting and drawing, and it’s always exciting seeing what new ideas she’ll bring along to the next event. No two stalls ever quite feel the same, which makes visiting her space such a lovely experience. You can really see how much she enjoys creating and experimenting with different styles and crafts.

Over the years, it’s been wonderful watching people connect more and more with her work, but also seeing the friendships that naturally formed through these events. What started as simply having a stall at the market has grown into genuine friendships outside of them too, with many of us now sharing meals, trips out, and time together beyond market days.

That sense of community is such a huge part of why we love running these events, and Jess has been a valued part of that journey from the start ✨

Jazz is the artist behind Glass & Bone Engraving, creating beautifully detailed hand-engraved mirrors and frames.

Her work is one of those crafts that really benefits from being seen in person — the level of detail and precision is something you can appreciate straight away. Each piece feels carefully worked, with time and patience clearly behind it.

There’s something quite special about engraved pieces like these. They’re not just decorative, they feel lasting — the kind of item you keep and display rather than put away.

Jazz’s stall is well worth stopping at if you enjoy craftsmanship and pieces that are a little different from the usual.
