A little look back to a sweltering day in June and the beautiful wedding of the awesome Hayley & Richard. We are so grateful for their lovely review and just know they are going have a fabulous married life together. Congratulations from all the Team! ❤️

“First of all, the Lawn and its beautiful grounds are absolutely incredible, to look at and for your special wedding day photos. Even though it is all stunning, it's actually the staff that made our day. The whole team were not only highly organised and efficient but incredibly caring and attentive. They helped us achieve every aspect of our wedding that we wanted and it was actually more than we could have dreamed of.

Our whole day ran smoothly from start to finish and nothing was too much trouble for the team, even though it was extreme heat on the day, they didn't falter and us and our guests remained their priority throughout. Every staff member just blended in around our family and everyone commented on the fantastic job they had done. That is without everything that went on behind the scenes that we didn't see.

The food was also absolutely incredible! Everyone loved it. We cannot thank you all enough for the incredible day you gave us and we would absolutely recommend you to anyone we can.

“If you’re searching for a beautiful place to marry, with a team whose care and attention will make your day incredible, look no further than The Lawn. From the moment we first met David, it was clear that everyone at the venue genuinely cares-not just about the details, but about the day itself-guiding it with a calm confidence that lets you and your guests enjoy every moment.

In the lead-up, that care showed itself time and again. No question was ever too small (and we had plenty), and every email was met with a thoughtful, timely response. There was a genuine sense of being known and remembered-not just as another booking, but as a couple whose day truly mattered. Every visit felt personal, warm, and reassuring.

What really sets The Lawn apart is their flexibility and willingness to go the extra mile. Whether it was arranging a PA system just days before the wedding, adapting menu options to suit us, or working through more specific requests with openness and fairness, nothing ever felt like a problem-only something to be solved together.

On the day itself, everything unfolded smoothly, and without a single moment of stress. Michael (our wedding coordinator), was exceptional: attentive without ever being intrusive, always one step ahead, and completely in tune with the rhythm of the day. He helped bring so many of our ideas to life, from preparing custom cocktails to ensuring the drinks reception felt just right, even making thoughtful, instinctive decisions that elevated the experience for our guests.

The food and drink were equally brilliant. The canapés were a huge hit, and guests were constantly well looked after-glasses never empty, everything flowing exactly as it should. The evening food was a particular highlight, served in a way that kept everyone mingling and dancing, and it was clear how much thought had gone into making the experience feel relaxed and enjoyable for everyone.

Throughout the entire day, the team worked quietly in the background with a kind of quiet warmth—always present, never intrusive-ensuring everything ran perfectly. The room transitions, the attention to detail, and the overall flow of the day were flawless, allowing us (and our guests) to simply be present and enjoy it all.

We’ve had so many comments from friends and family about how special the day felt-how well looked after they were, and how effortlessly everything seemed to come together.

We couldn’t recommend The Lawn more highly to anyone looking for a stunning venue backed by a truly exceptional team. Their focus on getting every detail right means you can relax and be fully present, knowing your day is in the best possible hands.”
