Very specific flowers were chosen for this young woman’s final goodbye. She left behind a heartbroken family, including her 2 small children, who yesterday had their first mother’s Day without their mumma. The livid yellow, white and lilac tributes needed to include Spring flowers, gerbera and roses. RIP LL 💛🤍💜

Two different funerals, for two lovely ladies, known very well to Wainscottians.

3ft Casket in lilac, lavender and white, fond memories of her dancing in wainscott club (now Co op) RIP JJ💜

4ft casket, MUM and Nan tribute, using a satin sash and Chrystal pins. And why not, D was an absolute gem of a lady, always smiling, always positive and funny even in her darkest days. A special thank you from me for making Nan look glamorous for many, many, many, years. RIP DW 🩷🤍

Both ladies were much loved mums, nans, a great nan and of course friends to many xx

My first funeral in January 2025 was very emotional. Tributes for a vibrant, beautiful, crazy and loving daughter, mum, sister and aunt. A life cut too short, leaving an ache in the hearts of all who knew her. RIP Emma. fly high with the angels

A tradition sheaf tribute, but arranged with a source of water. Many, many, moons ago, when I started in floristry, the flowers were formed in a fan design and tied off, but they didn’t last very long. So now we can make them with false stems and bow, with the flowers in wet oasis

Tributes I wish I didn’t have to make, but it made me pour more love and attention to detail into personalising each item.

As we all rush around preparing for the holidays, putting so much focus on that one day being, “our” perfect Christmas

It is easy to lose sight of family’s and friends who are dealing with loss. My role as a florist means I see both sides of what is meant to be, the happiest time of year.

These tributes were close to my heart, having known the family 20 years and my husband knowing them 30 years. Colourful, joyful and full of life! These tribute were a delight to make, so many colours and different flowers and depths. The tribute contained yellow roses and orange gerbera, as a focal flower, having known my customer many many years and doing her wedding flowers. So when it came to her Grandma’s funeral flowers, it was so important for those flowers to be included.
