Day 158 of our 365 day video challenge.

Question. What is the biggest challenge of managing multiple events on the same day?

The secret to a flawless event day?

Knowing exactly where to draw the line.

One of the biggest hurdles in this industry is the temptation to overbook. But in this video, I’m breaking down why we strictly adhere to our "Rule of Two."

The reason? Pure Logistics.

When you’re operating multiple vans and crews, the margin for error is razor-thin. It’s not just about driving from point A to point B, it’s a high-stakes puzzle that includes:

Precision Prep: Every single piece of equipment must be tested, packed, and accounted for. There’s no "running back to the warehouse" once the day starts.

The Human Element: Coordinating staff timings so everyone is briefed, and knows exactly where they need to be.

The Promise: When you book us, you aren’t just paying for a service, you’re paying for peace of mind.

Managing the "behind-the-scenes" chaos is the hardest part of the job, but it’s what makes the front-of-house look effortless. We limit our bookings because we refuse to compromise on the promises we made to you. We’d rather do two jobs perfectly than three jobs "well enough."

If you’re in the industry, what’s the one logistical detail that always keeps you on your toes? Let’s talk shop in the comments! 👇

Day 157 of our 365 day video challenge.

Question. What is the most unexpected technical problem you have solved at an event?

Ever found yourself in a public restroom, frantically holding a piece of high-end tech under a hand dryer?

No? Just me?

We learned a very literal lesson at a recent event: The "Thermal" in Thermal Printer isn't just a fancy name. It was a freezing evening and suddenly our entire photo service ground to a halt. No error codes, no paper jams, just total silence. After a quick deep-dive into the specs, we realized the ambient temperature had dropped so low that the printer simply refused to fire up.

The high-tech solution?

1. Sprint to the men’s toilets.
2. Hold the printer under the hand dryer like a newborn baby.
3. Pray no one walks in and asks what I’m doing.

Five minutes of "blow-drying" later, we plugged it back in and it burst into life like nothing had happened. It was equal parts embarrassing and genius, but the photos were saved!

Lesson learned: If you’re cold, your tech is probably colder. Keep your gear warm, folks.

What’s the most unexpected, "I can’t believe this is working" technical fix you’ve ever had to pull off at an event?

Day 156 of our 365 day video challenge.

Question. Do guests become Photo Booth regulars?

Do guests become Photo Booth regulars? If you’ve ever been to a wedding, you know the answer is a resounding YES.

It usually starts quietly. The Bride and Groom stop by for that perfect, glowing shot to kick off the gallery. But that’s just the spark that starts the fire.
Think about the "Photo Booth Journey":

The Sentimental Start: It begins with the family. The bride pulls in her parents, then her mother-in-law and father-in-law. It’s a rare moment where everyone is dressed to the nines and smiling, these are the photos that end up on the mantelpiece for decades.

The Inner Circle: Then come the grandparents and the bridesmaids. The energy starts to shift from "poised" to "playful."

The Social Ripple: Soon, the bridesmaids are bringing in the "Hen Party" crew, then old school friends, and work colleagues.

Why do people keep coming back?

Because the photo booth captures the two things every great party needs: Sentiment and Silly. While you’ll always have those guests who are "one and done" they take their single photo and head back to the bar, the majority of guests become true regulars. They realise that one photo isn’t enough to cover every friendship and every mood of the night.

By the end of the evening, the booth isn't just a piece of equipment, it’s a time capsule of every connection in the room. From the most touching family portraits to the chaotic, prop-filled group shots that make you laugh years later, it all happens right here.

Are you a "One & Done" guest or are we going to see you in the booth every 20 minutes? Tell us your style in the comments! 👇

The magic of your wedding day lives in the details.

When you’ve spent months hand-picking every element of your wedding from the floral arrangements to the perfect color palette, the last thing you want is a modern, plastic photo booth setup clashing with your beautiful decor.

That’s exactly why we’re so passionate about curating an experience that feels like an extension of your styling. We are absolutely thrilled to introduce our new, rustic wooden prop boxes!

As you can see in these weathered wooden crates replace standard, sterile containers with pure, rustic charm.

They have been meticulously chosen to match the timeless aesthetic of our Vintage Booth.

Every single corner of your reception should feel cohesive, elegant and intentional.

With this upgraded setup, your prop station doesn’t just hold the fun, it adds to the beautiful, vintage aesthetic of your venue.

Because your love story is classic, your photo booth should be too.

Question. What is the most creative way you’ve seen the illuminated letters set up?

Who says wedding decor has to be predictable? 💡🐼

Today, we are talking about breaking the mold with illuminated letters.

Usually, it’s a standard script: First names, the new surname or initials. It’s classic, but let’s be honest, it’s been done. If you want your reception to actually reflect your personality, you have to think outside the (light) box.

The most creative setup I’ve ever seen? The Name Mashup.

Back in 2023, we did a wedding for Paul and Amanda. Instead of the usual "P & A," they combined their names to create PANDA.

Seeing "PANDA" in giant glowing letters wasn't just a decor choice, it was a conversation starter. It took a standard rental and turned it into a personalized nickname that belonged only to them.

Why this works:

It’s unique: No one else will have your exact "brand."

It’s a photo magnet: Guests will be lining up for that "Panda" selfie.

It breaks the formality: It adds a touch of wit and fun to the evening.

Question for you: What’s the most creative way you’ve seen illuminated letters set up? Or better yet, if you mashed your name with your partner’s, what word would it make?

Drop it in the comments! 👇

Day 154 of our 365 day video challenge.

Question. What is the biggest chance of setting up a Photo Booth in tight spaces?

The "Flatpack" Struggle is Real

Ever tried building a massive IKEA wardrobe inside a broom closet?

That is exactly what it feels like trying to squeeze a professional Photo Booth setup into a tiny corner!

As I mentioned in my previous video, the "Golden Rule" for a smooth operation is a 3m x 3m square. That’s the magic footprint we need to move, breathe and build.

We also need a dedicated spot for your guest book table and, most importantly, a zone completely clear of stray chairs, tables and early-bird guests.

Why the 3m x 3m rule?

The best way to describe setting up a booth is like building flatpack furniture. 🧩 To do it right (and safely!), you have to lay every single piece out on the floor before you start clicking them together.

When we’re dodging legs, bags and furniture, a 30-minute setup can easily turn into a high-stress marathon. Having that clear, open space ensures we get everything leveled, lit and ready for your first pose without any hiccups!

Day 153 of our 365 day video challenge.

Question. What do guests do when they see the illuminated letters?

Making a Statement:

The Power of Light

We are shining a light on one of our favorite floor-fillers: Illuminated Letters.

What do guests actually do when they walk into a room and see those giant glowing initials? The reaction is almost always the same. Whether it’s at a wedding reception or one of our wedding fairs, those letters are a total magnet.

The "Glow" Effect:

The Paparazzi Moment: As soon as the room turnaround happens, the phones come out. Guests love capturing the sheer scale and "wow factor" of the lighting.

The Ultimate Backdrop: It’s not just about the letters, it’s about who is standing next to them. From couples to bridesmaids and even Grandma, everyone wants that perfect lit-up portrait.

The Personal Touch: It transforms a standard dance floor into your space. It’s a statement piece that screams "The Party is Here!"

We see it time and time again, friends and family at wedding fairs can’t help but snap a photo to show the couple. They are more than just decor; they are an experience.

Question for you:

If you had giant illuminated letters at your event, would you go for your initials, your new shared surname, or a classic like "LOVE" or "DANCE"? Let us know in the comments! 👇

Day 152 of our 365 day video challenge.

Question. Why do couples choose the Vintage Booth over the Photo Booth?

Classic vs. Vintage:

Which Booth Wins?

We’re pitting our O.G. Classic Photo Booth against our newest addition, the Vintage Booth.

The question we get most is: Why choose one over the other? Here is the breakdown:

The Classic Photo Booth

The Vibe: Pure nostalgia. Everyone knows the drill, hop in, close the curtain and squeeze 4–5 friends into the frame.

The Appeal: It’s timeless. It fits into any party, any theme and any venue. It’s the "Old Faithful" of event entertainment.

The Vintage Booth

The Vibe: Handcrafted aesthetic based on the classic Box Brownie camera.

The Appeal: It was specifically brought on board for our stunning barn venues like The Old Kent Barn, Winters Barns and Cooling Castle Barn.

The Fit: If you’re leaning into those rustic, chic wedding aesthetics, this booth doesn't just take photos, it becomes part of the decor.

The Verdict:

Choose the Photo Booth for that classic, private-booth energy.

Choose the Vintage Booth if you want your tech to match your barn-setting aesthetic perfectly.

Day 151 of our 365 day video challenge.

Question. What moments reminds you of why you love running events?

Right now, we are in the thick of it.

From May through September, our calendar isn't just a schedule, it’s a mission.

When you are running an event company during peak wedding season, you learn very quickly that 90% of your success is won in the prep work.

We spend 18 months to two years communicating with a couple, refining visions and obsessing over the details.

By the time the wedding day arrives, there is no room for "planning in the moment." You are executing a master plan that was set in motion years ago.

Because of that intensity, moving straight from one dancefloor setup to the next van load, you don't often get a moment to sit and soak in the atmosphere.

The "magic" isn't always found in the on the day, it’s found in the reflection that comes much later.

The real "why" hits us when:

We finally sit down to send over that completed online gallery.

We see the illuminated letters and the dancefloor looking pristine in a photographer’s professional shot.

We read a testimonial from a couple whose journey with us started two years prior and has now reached its perfect conclusion.

Reflection is a luxury we afford ourselves once the dust has settled.

It’s looking back at a sea of successful events and realising that all that invisible prep work created a lifetime of visible memories.
