Medway Sound Medway Sound provides DJ studio hire and rehearsal studio space in Rochester for DJs, musicians and bands across Medway and Kent.

Used for DJ practice, band rehearsals and creative sessions, with free on-site parking. We are the only creative space in the Medway Towns and beyond to offer all that we do. Open 24 hours a day by appointment!

We have replaced our studio speakers with these beauties from .

Good news for customers, bad news for us as it means our beloved EON units have been cooked through misuse. 2 voice coils killed by thermal overload in one session, a fire hazard and a safety hazard! ⚠️ 🔥

Abusing our equipment has a HUGE impact on us, at £1000 a time it’s a massive setback. We’re determined to make sure that the bad apples don’t spoil what we have for others. So we’re limiting audio output to protect our equipment and your hearing.

We have directed the units straight into our DJ booth, the sound is clear, defined and safe, it is a wonderful place to be and there is no need to change that or any of the settings on the speakers. We have put measures in to prevent any “fiddling” happening.

You should be taking care of your ears, they are your most precious asset if you are serious about DJing or producing.

We are a practice studio, not the you really don’t need industrial levels of noise to practice your sets or livestream.

Help us help you by respecting our and the premium equipment we provide. Or risk a very hefty bill!

We are SO done with IK Multimedia and their iRig Stream products and having to replace them every few months because they are just not robust enough and constantly fail.

We have added a low latency wireless audio receiver and a hardy little Focusrite Solo to our streaming cabinet.

All you have to do is plug in your and go LIVE!
