As a small, independent business, I take on a limited number of brides to ensure every dress receives the time, care and attention it deserves.

It was such a pleasure to be part of Anna’s journey to the aisle and to see her finally wearing her beautiful dress on her wedding day. And just look at her… absolutely stunning! 😍

From the delicate lace sleeves and beautiful neckline to that incredible train — every detail came together so beautifully, and these photos capture it perfectly. 🤍

I’ve been a little quiet on here lately… but for a very good reason! 🤍

Bridal season has kept me VERY busy over the last few months, and I’ve spent most of my time doing what I love — making beautiful dresses fit beautifully. ✂️🤍

Now that things are starting to calm down, I’m looking ahead to the next few months and wanted to pop back on here and remind you that I don’t just alter bridal gowns!

✨ Evening & occasion wear

I’m now taking bookings for November through to February, so if you’ve got a dress sitting in your wardrobe that isn’t quite right, this is a great time to get those alterations booked in. 🤍

And a little note for my 2027 brides… 💍

My spring/summer 2027 diary is already starting to fill, so please don’t leave your alterations until the last minute! I recommend getting in touch as soon as you have your dress and know your wedding/travel date, and I’ll advise you on the best time to start your fittings.

Today’s labour of love 🤍 lines of beadwork around the front, shoulders and back removed. Then so much new lace has been added all over the bodice of this Gaia dress all hand sewn (hours and hours 😅) to create a much softer look. The bodice has also been downsized by two dress sizes.

We’re hiring a Temporary Part-Time Bridal & Social Media Assistant at Allison Louise Bridal ✨

We’re looking for someone who wants to be part of something a little bit special…

Because yes — you’ll be steaming dresses, tidying the boutique and making drinks ☕️
But you’ll also be:

✨ creating content, filming Reels & bringing our brand to life
✨ helping brides find the one
✨ part of those emotional “yes” moments
✨ working in a space where every appointment is completely personal

This role is for someone who:
🤍 Loves fashion & people
🤍 Is confident and comfortable on camera
🤍 Knows how to use social media platforms such as instagram, facebook, TikTok, Pinterest
🤍 Brings good energy into the room
🤍 Is extremely reliable, organised and ready to get stuck in
🤍 Can work on their feet all day and lift heavy items

📍 Belper, Derbyshire
⏰ Up to 12 hours per week
Must be available to work every Saturday + 1 weekday
