📢 Planned Closure Notice

Due to a planned local power outage, Moors Valley will be closed on Tuesday 13 October 2026.

The car park, Visitor Centre, all onsite concessions and facilities will remain closed until the power is restored. We also have no access to our phone lines during this time.

We hope to reopen some facilities later in the day on Tuesday 13 October 2026, which will include access to the car park, Visitor Centre and trails. Limited grab-and-go refreshments will be available from The Barn Café.

Otherwise, Moors Valley will be open as normal from 8am on Wednesday 14 October 2026.

Updates will be communicated via our social media channels and on our website once power is restored ✨

What a difference a fresh new look makes! 🤩

☀️SERVICE UPDATE☀️

After a few adjustments during the hot weather, we’re pleased to let you know we’ll be back open as normal tomorrow (Friday 26th June) 🙌

We’ll be serving our full menu, with breakfast available from 9am – 11:30am 🥐☕ and our lunch menu from midday until 5pm 🍽️

You can also enjoy all your favourite drinks including:
🥤 Iced lattes
🍓 Fresh fruit smoothies
🥤 Soft drinks
☕ A full range of handmade hot drinks (if you’re not hot enough from this weather already! 😅)

Hot weather update ☀️

As the temperature continues to rise, we’re keeping things a little cooler behind the scenes ❄️

Tomorrow (Thursday 25 June), the Barn Café kitchen will be offering a reduced menu to help the team stay safe in the extreme temperatures. You’ll still be able to enjoy:

🥪 Sandwiches
🥗 Light snacks and salads
☕ Hot and cold drinks and ice cream to keep you refreshed

It’s the perfect opportunity to grab something cool and relax in the shade 🌳

Moors Valley Railway will also be taking a short break on 24 and 25 June due to the hot weather – they look forward to welcoming visitors back on 26 June if temperatures drop 🚂

If you're visiting over the next couple of days please remember to stay hydrated by using our free water refill station, take breaks in the shade and look out for each other 😎
