“Strawberries and cream” was the starting point for this beautiful London wedding.

Amber came to us with those three words to describe her dream colour palette, which we interpreted through soft blush, ivory and cream, layered with richer strawberry reds and touches of burgundy, echoing the deeper red accents she had chosen throughout the day.

From a traditional church ceremony to an elegant reception at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, the florals were designed to feel romantic and abundant, with the deeper tones bringing warmth and contrast to each setting.

For the bridal bouquet, garden roses, ranunculus, sweet peas and delicate seasonal flowers were gathered in a loose, natural shape, with those richer red tones creating a beautiful contrast against her silk gown.

At the reception, low floral centrepieces, bud vases and candlelight filled the tables, balanced with taller arrangements to bring height and impact to the room.

A lovely reminder that a playful starting point can become something wonderfully elegant and refined.

The bridal bouquet is perhaps the most personal part of the flowers we create.

For Katie, we brought together soft blush, ivory and buttery tones with touches of coral, layering garden roses, peonies and delicate locally grown seasonal flowers to create a bouquet that felt abundant, romantic and full of movement.

I always love a bouquet that feels considered without feeling too perfect. The smaller flowers trailing stems and subtle changes in tone give this one its softness, while those incredible coral peonies bring just enough colour to make the whole palette come alive.

The bridesmaids’ bouquets followed the same floral story on a smaller scale, creating a beautifully cohesive look against their soft neutral dresses.

Still one of my favourite bridal bouquets I’ve ever created!

Behind the scenes at Syon Park

Creating florals on this scale is always a team effort.

For this ceremony in the beautiful Conservatory at Syon Park, we created an abundant, immersive floral installation, designed to fill the space with layers of foliage and flowers in soft shades of blush, peach, lilac, blue and ivory.

The design began with an incredible amount of greenery, building depth, movement and an organic silhouette before flowers were woven throughout. Hydrangeas, roses, delphiniums and alliums brought softness and colour, with sprawling floral meadows at the base making the whole installation feel as though it was growing into the space around it.

These behind-the-scenes photographs capture just a little of the work that goes into creating something of this scale. Swipe through to see our team at work, including a little film from the installation itself, before all the ladders, buckets and boxes disappeared and the ceremony began.

A little behind the scenes of creating the flowers for this beautiful summer wedding at 🤍

The brief was contemporary and elegant, with soft whites, blush pinks and plenty of fresh green. We kept the ceremony flowers deliberately simple, allowing the gardens at St Giles to do much of the talking, before repurposing the arrangements inside for dinner.

I especially loved designing the flowers for the Library. We picked up the soft green of the chairs within the arrangements, added blush pink candles to bring out the warmer tones in the flowers, and used the ceremony urns and meadows around the fireplaces to create a beautiful backdrop for the couple and their speeches.

We carried little touches of the same flowers into the other spaces too, from the bar to the outdoor drinks reception, so that everything felt connected as guests moved through the day.

Such a lovely one to look back on, and one of my favourite rooms to flower 🌿
