wh what a special day having Nicole and Dave here at The Waterside Venue. Such a lovely couple we are so proud to have hosted this event last weekend; a couple with such brilliant music taste too -- lots of New Order, Massive Attack and other brilliant and more alternative selections on the wedding playlist.

Take a look at our exclusive use wedding venue! We are an intimate venue specialising in weddings just outside London in the beautiful town of Rickmansworth. We have lots of different nooks and crannies for couples and their guests to enjoy on the day. Our deceptively large curated space is designed with care and attention to creating engaging wedding day flow and ensuring flexibility for couples to put their own stamp on it.

- We have the obvious lure of our Grade-II listed 1750's original bar area, a bar space steeped in history and charm.

- we have the lovely Oak Room, a room made of Oak beams and panelling (for cutting of cake and misc activities like photo booths, memory tables, sweet tables to be placed for guests)

- We have our dancefloor area for dancing in the evening, this is where you'll be in the eve.

- we have our dining maquee for meals and speeches and a beuatiful plan B area for ceremonies.

- We have our patio area for getting some sun and mingling, a popular area.

- We have the walkway from patio to the bridge (a brilliant photo opportunity)

- We have the bridge overlooking the River Colne (see our resident moorhens, ducks, swans, coots, herons and fish and amazingly a kingfisher lives here with us (can you spot it?)

- We have our welcome drinks garden (with our outdoor bar for welcome drinks, lots of photo oppurtunities here including space for big huge group shots)

- And then finally but not least, we have our Willow Grove (where the ceremonies take place)

Since 2015 we have been building a venue we feel creates an intimate yet interesting and beautiful day for our couples, we are very proud of it and so happy over 500+ couples have been married here over the since we became a venue.
