Perfect end to the week for Riverbend Flowers, sunshine, bird song and insects humming on the pyracantha growing up the front of the house. It's amazing thorny and hideous to prune but it flowers is heart out feeding a huge array of insects then later in the year the (orange on this one) berries feed the birds for weeks.

On the studio the first of the climbing roses opened with so many more buds to follow - pruning it hard last year seems to have kick started huge new regrowth. All this as a background to putting together flowers for a small wedding T&K congratulations you looked amazing and were so relaxed I'm sure today was incredible for you both. Then anniversary flowers, a couple of birthdays regular subscription flowers and meetings with two brides for 2026.

Large bouquets, small bouquets, posies, bar and restaurant flowers, birthday flowers, congratulations flowers, thank you flowers - a full day of flowers and deliveries (all with rained on stuck up hair, no one said a thing). Got the steps and some in today - feet up and a cup of tea now!

The fields around us (including ours) are loving the rain and the crops are maturing fast this year - two lots of blue tit babies have fledged from their nests around the studio and even our robin friend is too busy to stop for a chat - biscuit crumbs just don't hit the spot when there are big fat worms to be had. Even with all this drama and bird song from about 4.00 am to 10.00pm the flowers keep on being made up and delivered to you lovely customers - mixed in with events, weddings, funerals, corporate parties and more. Thank you for your continued support I hope you're enjoying the unfolding of the year so far.
