A wonderful morning sharing the joy of flowers at the ‘Make a Meadow’ workshop.

Every guest made a beautiful arrangement.

Today’s reasons to be cheerful…

❤️It’s flower stall setup day - this is open at the farm each Friday & Saturday.
This week there’s homegrown decorative squash available as well as fresh flowers. I feel autumn approaching!

❤️Flowers are cut and ready for tomorrow’s Meadow box workshop. I set up at the venue this afternoon, but shan’t spoil the surprise for my guests tomorrow!

And next week I’ll be whipping up a fresh batch for farmers’ market. Thrilled with the harvest this year.

❤️After sulking forever it seems after an unwelcome vole party around the tubers - my dahlias are beginning to bounce back. Who knows I might even get a decent crop in Sept 😅.

Can’t wait to share tomorrow’s creations with you.

Wedding flowers made easy peasy.

I love cutting for mixed buckets and there’s tonnes of reasons why they are the perfect choice for creative couples.

🌸 Each week I stock the stall with what takes my fancy.

💷 Payments are simple. Cards & Apple/Google pay are easy peasy too.

I’m sad to say the PYO event scheduled for this Saturday 15th August is cancelled.

There’s still some flowers, just not as many as I’d like. When I welcome people in, I want there to be lots of choice and abundance.

Everyone with tickets has been contacted by email and refunds sent.

Am I disappointed? Certainly.
But if it’s possible I’ll reschedule another date before the season ends.

However, there’s still a couple of places left for the August workshop - Make a meadow
Saturday 29th August 10-12noon.

This month I’m celebrating.

🥳 The farm is now two years old!
🥳 and I’m finally on the sign at the entrance (this one will please my MIL!)

This year has been tough but I’m still pushing on.

To continue the celebration, I’ve got two tickets to my Make a Meadow workshop up for grabs!

On Saturday 29th August 10am - 12noon we’ll be creating meadow box arrangements in the heart of Salle, a stones throw from the farm. Every guest will be provided with the materials and flowers to make their own meadow box, there’ll be tea, coffee and treats too!

A winner will be selected at random and this giveaway is open to all across Instagram & Facebook.
You just need to be able to join us on 29th August in Salle, NR10 4SD.
If you win, but can’t make it - another winner will be chosen.

A big THANK YOU To all the wonderful customers Creake Abbey farmers’ market on 1st August.

Creake Abbey with its independent shops, charming barns & abbey ruins is a wonderful setting for this vibrant market.

I’ve been attending since March this year and am getting to know regular customers that come back each month for a bunch of something locally grown. Saturday was my busiest day yet and I needed the confidence boost after a dry, hot July.

This season has been a struggle and more than once I’ve wanted to throw in the towel. But every time something happens to keep me going.

So again, thank you - for your support, your custom, your patience

I must thank Tracey Jane @ Vintage Rose once more for being my wedding delivery driver too. Without your help, Tracey I would have had to miss the market.

Norfolk Fitted Kitchens, my wonderful (long suffering) husband, for countless things - but especially texts of encouragement, cups of coffee, fetching, carrying & turning a blind eye when I fill the house, garden and alley with buckets of flowers.
