RETURN OF THE SKI TRAIN! (sort of)

The original overnight disco ski train disappeared long ago and the direct Eurostar service was replaced for the last couple of years with a package holiday service only (now also axed). However new for Winter 2023/24 is the Eurostar Snow Train service via Lille from £99 one-way (inc bags & skis).

Tickets are on sale from 31 August for travel between 16 December 2023 and 4 February 2024.

The new service involves a Eurostar train between London and Lille; then a second, newly-branded, Eurostar Snow train between Lille, and the ski resorts at Chambéry, Albertville, Moutiers, Aime-La Plagne and Bourg-Saint-Maurice.

Trains depart Saturday morning and return Sunday morning allowing 7 days on the slopes.

Eurostar website has a few errors (says to get a coach from Bourg St Maurice for La Tania instead of Moûtiers!). Also note the limited dates with the service running only until 4 Feb. Some packages will be available not the new service and then the options are via Paris then SNCF to Moûtiers.

What a wonderful happy and exciting day it was last week for Maggie & Matt's wedding at the stunning Gate Street Barn near Guildford. This wedding was very special for me as I have known the family for many years and was incredibly privileged to be asked to arrange this wedding. We had a lot of fun and the wedding day was just wonderful. Maggie looked stunning and Matt scrubbed up very well indeed :-0)) Many congratulations to Mr & Mrs Petts. This lovely photo was taken just after the couple had tied the knot and were about to walk back down the aisle.

Suddenly in the blink of an eye I'm off to Guildford for my next very special wedding of Maggie & Matt at the fabulous Gate Street Barn.
The last 8 months have been a blast and I cannot wait, who doesn't love a wedding!

This time next week we will be all set up for my next wedding at the beautiful location that is Gate Street Barn in Bramley near Guildford.

I've just had my final call with the Bride and Groom and we are all set and ready. Now for the exciting bit, I just love it when all the months of hard work come together for the perfect day.

Super excited to see this fabulous Barn setting for the Ceremony and the wedding breakfast.

I was privileged to be party to a viewing of Emma Atkins and Tim Atkins wedding photographs by Paul Wilkinson Photography Ltd over the weekend.

As a wedding planner I see many wedding photographs but these really moved me and there are many wow moments!

Not only are these such a beautiful reflection of the day but the lighting and creative around these are just perfect. I can’t imagine how you choose your photographs, but thank goodness for digital so these can be shared and enjoyed. 😁

Super excited about going to the King’s Garden Party at Buckingham Palace today. The sun is shining and all ready for a wonderful afternoon. On a scale of one to ten it’s a nine already!

It’s an absolute privilege to have been invited just four days before the Coronation, I suppose quite a few Rpyals will be present today, so here’s hoping. I’m not shy 😂
