We’ve been out and about… and reminded once again just how fortunate we are to work in some truly exceptional settings.

Through our ongoing work with Purdey at The Royal Berkshire ( ), this season has already taken us to some remarkable private locations for their roving days — each one offering its own unique backdrop, character and sense of occasion.

From The Woodland Lodge on the Culden Faw Estate near Henley, to the timeless elegance of West Woodhay House near Newbury, it’s been a privilege to bring thoughtful food and seamless service to such beautiful spaces.

One of the greatest joys of what we do is creating menus that not only complement the day, but also reflect the setting itself — carefully considered food, designed to match the occasion.

We look forward to sharing more from these stunning locations as the season unfolds.

We were delighted to be part of a very special event in collaboration with Purdey at The Royal Berkshire, recently featured in .

‘Set against the beautiful backdrop of the Berkshire countryside, the day brought together heritage, craftsmanship and understated luxury — something that was reflected throughout the experience’.

Our team curated a selection of refined elevenses and a seasonal lunch menu, designed to feel both elegant and effortless — thoughtful dishes that complemented the tone of the day and the setting perfectly.

The space itself was beautifully finished with fresh florals from Green Parlour, adding a natural softness and tying everything together seamlessly.

A pleasure to support such a considered and beautifully executed event — and to work alongside a team who value detail as much as we do.

Next up… a slightly different take (as you might expect).

Vanessa Miller — Director, Founder of Top Nosh Cuisine & The Pantry Yattendon.

Vanessa’s standout moment from last year comes as one — a favourite dish and a favourite event, perfectly paired.

Beetroot & citrus cured salmon with gin & tonic cucumber balls, avocado, shallots and dill.

Fresh, vibrant, and full of elegance — a dish that perfectly reflected the setting it was created for.

This was served at a very special private event for the Crown Estate at Windsor Great Park, held after hours in the stunning Savill Garden.

“A fantastic and original location in the most beautiful garden, for Paul Sedgwick — someone I’ve known since 2011. Paul played such a key role in helping us establish our headquarters and The Pantry, so it was a real pleasure to create something special for him and his guests in such a unique setting.”

A real full-circle moment — and a reminder of how far we’ve come, and the people who have been part of that journey along the way.

Team Throwback Series ✨

Over the next few weeks we’re looking back at some of our favourite moments from last season — through the eyes of the team who helped bring them to life.

First up: Georgie Miller, our Senior Events Chef.

One of Georgie’s standout dishes from last year was this beautiful plate:

Pork tenderloin with celeriac purée, white bean & Mediterranean vegetable ratatouille, tender stem broccoli, crispy crackling, chimichurri and a rich sherry jus.

“I think it’s my favourite dish because it’s a little different from our usual plates. It doesn’t have a potato element, which makes it feel really light and summery — and the chimichurri just makes the flavours and colours pop. (Plus… it was delicious.)”

Her favourite event of the year was the Wauchope wedding last summer.

“It felt really special to be part of Lydia and Max’s wedding day — I’ve known Lydia since I was about seven years old, so it meant a lot to be there cooking for such an important moment & having our old school as the venue - magic.”

Moments like these are what make what we do so special — beautiful food, incredible events, and a team that truly cares about every plate.

A throwback to one of our favourite celebration cakes from last year…

Created for a lovely regular client, this one was all about fun, colour and a little bit of magic — complete with matching cupcakes to tie it all together.
And yes… those colours are giving serious Wicked energy 💚✨🩷

We absolutely love creating bespoke cakes like this — whether it’s for birthdays, celebrations or something completely unique.
