GET TO KNOW ā€¢ Regina Pimentel
An indie singer-songwriter based in Southern California, whose music tells introspective stories through soft, emotional lullabies influenced by artists such as King Krule, Elliott Smith, and Beabadoobee. Her sound often uses acoustic and electric guitars, piano, and dreamy synths, offering a more intimate and nostalgic atmosphere in her music.

Regina's journey started over 10 years ago when she uploaded her first cover on Youtube at 14 years old. Since then, her Youtube covers have been recognized by artists such as JhenƩ Aiko, Clairo, and Conan Gray, alongside gaining a TikTok following of over 70k followers after posting original music. She placed in her first Spotify playlist "Fresh Finds Folk" with her song "June" that has over half a million streams on Spotify today.

On August 20th, Ankur officially released 'Mr. Faarigh', his 3rd, into the world. The nine-track album looks beyond procrastination as laziness, tracing the uneasy space between perfectionism, analysis paralysis and the fear of beginning. Ankur reclaims the word, asking what might actually be happening beneath apparent inactivity: anxiety, self-doubt, fear of failure and the impossible standards that can make starting feel more frightening than remaining still. Ahead of the release, we spoke to Ankur about the London listening party and the inspirations and process behind creation of the record.

yun2x is an independent artist in the indiepop, antipop, and hyperpop music space. He is a one man army, handling everything from production, mixing, and mastering to video editing and graphic design himself. Citing artists such as Aries and keshi as inspiration, stumbling across music production and song breakdown videos on YouTube was his original spark to make music. Blending electronic, vibrant synths with soft acoustic sounds, he crafts songs that scream melancholy and nostalgia, yet present in a way that feels energetic and exciting. With lyrics telling stories of yearning and heartbreak, he has created a discography that is easy to relate to.

Episode 5 on fluffle, Jocelle is joined by Singaporean-Australian artist Yulan Jack, a creative force to be reckoned with. While best known as a professional actress with leading roles in Deadloch, she is also a writer and musician who has recently begun working on mainstay music project Yulan & Blaise. She shared with Jocelle about the parallels of acting and creating music, and how both mediums (and all the others she works in) scratch different creative itches as part of her practice.
