E N G A G E M E N T P A R T Y D E C O R // There aren't many private hire venues with beautiful views across the Thames estuary but Sands by the Sea is one of them.
The style and decor of the venue allowed us to keep the decor simple with a bespoke personalised backdrop and white and gold organic balloon garland. This was offset perfectly against the grass wall and twinkling fairy lights with personal pictures of the couple placed around the venue.

Balloons and back drops create a focal point to draw your guests eyes to and always encourage people to take a photo or three giving you the memories of your celebrations for years to come

O U T D O O R S E T U P S // Outside set ups used to always fill me with anxiety, but I absolutely love setting up for garden parties. So do I offer them? ABSOLUTELY!!

Here's my top tips for setting up outside to ensure your display not only looks fantastic for the entire event, but is also safe!

🎈 Ask your client to send you a photo of the location they would like the set up so you can assess suitability. Don't be scared to suggest alternatives, clients will appreciate your advice and honesty!
🎈 Ensure the set up is going to be on a hard standing surface! There is nothing worse than uneven ground. Make sure your backdrops are stable!
🎈 Place the set up in an area sheltered from the wind ideally with its back to the fence/wall. Even the most sheltered gardens can be challenging with gusts of wind and 6ft tall backdrops
🎈 Place it out of direct sunlight and avoid dark colours.
🎈 Under inflate balloons to allow for expansion in the heat
🎈 Use appropriate weights
🎈 Educate your client on oxidisation
