What a day we had at Rawtenstall Market on Saturday! 🎉☀️

The market was buzzing with families, laughter, music and non-stop fun all day long! Huge shoutout to Rossendale Radio for keeping the vibes alive with amazing tunes and energy.

A massive thank you to the incredible Sarah Kershaw for her fantastic circus skills “have-a-go” workshops — the kids (and adults!) absolutely loved getting involved 🤹

Big love to my amazing team at ALR Productions for running the bouncy castle, helping everything run smoothly, and bringing the energy all day long 🎈

And of course, thank you to Rawtenstall Market for supporting the event and helping us create such a brilliant community day ❤️

Over the past eight weeks, ALR Productions has been proud to work in partnership with Rossendale Borough Council, supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, to deliver a creative, community-led project celebrating all things chocolate.

As part of the project, we delivered a series of engaging workshops where families designed their very own chocolate bars—imagining unique flavours and creating bespoke packaging. These sessions were hosted at Haslingden Library and Helmshore Primary School, and we extend a huge thank you for their support.

The artwork created during these workshops was proudly showcased at our community event, Chocolate in the Square, held yesterday at Haslingden Big Lamp Square. The event featured balloon modelling, cupcake decorating, live chocolate demonstrations, and was hosted by Rossendale Radio.

It was a fantastic day and incredibly well attended by our community. We are extremely grateful to the local businesses who supported the event and helped make it such a success, and to our fantastic team at ALR Productions, who have been involved throughout the full eight weeks of the project and during the event itself.
