The hills are coming to Ramsgate! The Sound of Music lands at the Granville from 3-5 June 2027.

Based on Baroness Maria von Trapp’s 1949 autobiography, this wonderfully lavish staging of The Sound Of Music tells the true story of the world-famous singing family, from their romantic beginnings and search for happiness, to their thrilling escape to freedom as their beloved Austria becomes part of the Third Reich at the start of the Second World War.

One of the greatest musicals of all time, this Rodgers & Hammerstein classic features a timeless score including Do-Re-Mi, My Favourite Things, Climb Ev’ry Mountain and of course, its soaring title number, The Sound of Music.

This is an amateur production from Regency Productions.

That'll Be The Day turns 40 this year, making four decades of rock 'n' roll, pop and comedy packed into one show, running the hits from the 50s through to the 80s. The UK's longest-running touring theatre show ends its run with us here in Ramsgate tonight.
