The school holidays have started here, so replies will be a little slower than usual while I take some time to enjoy the break with my family.

I’ll still be dipping in and out of the office, with plenty of wedding stationery on the go behind the scenes.

And a little something I’ve been experimenting with recently… oval table names finished with delicate lace. I haven’t had the chance to create these for a wedding just yet, but I couldn’t resist adding them to the collection of ideas.

Sometimes it’s nice to try something simply because you love the look of it.

The best collaborations bring something extra to the design

It was such a pleasure to work alongside the talented .robertson.illustration on this custom gatefold invitation suite for Rachel & Connor

Featuring a bespoke illustration of the couple and their pups, this design was all about bringing a little more of their personalities into their stationery.

I love collaborating with other wedding suppliers, and creating something so personal for this couple was such a joy.

Your menus, place cards and signage don’t need to be carbon copies of your invitations.

Using the same colours, materials or details in slightly different ways can create a table setting that feels cohesive without being predictable.

This simple oval menu, finished with a delicate pearl detail, is a good example.

Who says a table plan has to look like a table plan?

This one took a slightly different route, using a painted backdrop, individual table cards and wax seals to create something that felt much more like part of the overall wedding design.

Proof that practical details don’t have to be predictable.
