Tribute
In loving memory of Johnny Simpson
It is with immense sadness that we share the news that our dear friend and much-loved Fever member, Johnny Simpson, passed away yesterday following cancer.
Johnny had been part of the Fever family for many years and was a proud member of our Adult Ballroom Team. He trained, performed and competed alongside us, including representing Fever at Blackpool, creating memories that will remain part of our school’s history forever.
Johnny was a true gentleman and a scholar. Intelligent, thoughtful and unfailingly courteous, he carried himself with quiet dignity both on and off the dance floor. He was a keen equestrian, a respected professional, a loyal teammate and, above all, a wonderful friend to so many of us.
We will remember Johnny standing proudly alongside his teammates, impeccably dressed and ready to dance. We will remember the rehearsals, the competitions, the celebrations and those special moments at Blackpool that only a dance family can fully understand.
But more than any result or performance, we will remember the person. His kindness, his friendship, his commitment to the team and the place he held within Fever.
Our deepest love and sympathy go to Johnny’s family, his loved ones and everyone fortunate enough to have known him.
Johnny, thank you for the years, the dances, the memories and your friendship. The music may have stopped, but your place within the Fever family will remain forever.
Rest peacefully, Johnny. You will be missed more than words can say. ❤️
We would be honoured for anyone who knew Johnny to share a memory or photograph of him in the comments.
