We were very pleased to be at a live music event at The Ferret tonight which included talks on mental health to raise awareness of Andys Man Club and other mental health charities. It was great to meet two of our big supporters Kurt Spencer and Preston DJ Social once again. 👌

Vitally important cause for the city and the county. Cannot put it better than this piece from Blog Preston :

Preston will wait up to another 12 months without a clear timeline for when a major venue is back operating in the city.

Having a place to celebrate, enjoy, dance, sing and be Preston has been taken away since 2019.

We urge the Secretary of State to give the tools, resources and support to Preston City Council - or whatever council it ends up becoming part of in the future - to give the city the cultural hub it needs, wants and deserves.

For our children, for all our communities, for our nightlife, for our city centre businesses, for the hospitality industry, for our creative sector, for our bands, for our comedians, for our panto performers, for our dance groups - heck - even for the election counts and nights in there!

We're not interested in how we got here with the Guild Hall, we are interested in how we move forward.

This government calls for us to take Pride In Place. Well we, in Preston, are proud - we’re known as ‘Proud Preston’, but without a major venue we don't have the place to express that pride.

Sign our petition today and send a message to those with the means, resources and power to get Preston partying again to take action. Whether it’s the Guild Hall, or another venue, let’s show Preston wants and needs a major city venue. Sign today and share with your friends, family and anyone else you think needs to know Preston wants to be back on the cultural map.

Queen (three times), David Bowie, Victoria Wood, A-Ha, Pixies, Van Morrison, The Ramones, Peter Kay - we could go on. All the acts we've been able to find so far.

Torrid times for the UK Nightlife economy.

The Fourth UK Electronic Music Industry Report - 2026 dropped a few days ago and - although its a proud moment to be mentioned in such a large internationally reaching report - its somewhat bittersweet when your featured in something that outlines the context of why your events and the people you work with are so badly needed.

Myself and were in attendance at the NTIA in Liverpool on the 11th. We went to a number of talks on mental health, diversity, inclusion and what dance floors and community spaces represent in the modern world. Although the stark reality of the industry hung over the entire event, the people we talked to and the talks we saw left us charged up and hopeful of the work us and others were doing to try make a difference.

Reports like this are integral to forcing legislation and making change. Some times massive problems can overwhelm and make us feel powerless but it’s the small every day things that anyone can do to support and improve their community which empower us.

In a world where old ideas are not working anymore it’s the fresh and hopeful perspectives that are more valuable than ever. It’s getting crazy out there. Support each other, share skills, share passions, bring people together and make them feel safe.

Massive thanks to Tony Rigg and for their continued support of what we do.
