💐💐 POPPIES ANNOUNCEMENT 💐💐

It is with a heavy heart that after 17 years we are sadly announcing the closure of Poppies Florist!

Our last day of opening will be SATURDAY 21st JUNE.

We understand this news may be disappointing and we want to thank all our lovely customers many of which have become friends over the years for all your custom and support however health is having to take priority. With ongoing health conditions for myself and after mums health scare and mobility deteriorating it’s getting increasingly more difficult for me myself to put the hours into the shop that is needed.

This is something we have been agonising over for a while but recent health results are showing that treatment I have been having just isnt working the best! Absolutely gutted!

Once again thank you so so much for everyones continued support over all the years we will miss you all!

Absolutely gutted to be writing this but i have to get it out there as soon as possible with Mothers Day fast approaching on Sunday 30th March!

I have had ongoing health problems and whilst i was on my short break I have come back to a letter offering me an appointment for medical procedure on my back however this is the week of Mothers Day!! 😢 I have had to make the incredibly difficult decision but having to close the shop the week running up to Sunday 30th as I have to allow recovery time!

Feel absolutely terrible letting down all our devoted customers old and new but I just can’t refuse the treatment as may be many months before another and just hope you can all understand that health sometimes has to take priority!

Many many thanks and my sincerest of apologies to all the wonderful mums out there!

We will close at end of day on Monday 24th March with any orders that are in the diary will be completed!

🎄🎅🏻 CHRISTMAS AT POPPIES 🎅🏻🎄

To all my wonderful customers and friends,
this year unfortunately things are going to be running a little different to the last 16 years. With ongoing health problems we are having to cut back our service offerings at Christmas time.

Christmas handtied bouquets will still be available to order but the quantity of orders taken may be less.

Christmas arrangements for graves/memoriums will be available in the shop on a first come first serve basis daily, these are what i would spend the additional hours and late evenings making up which unfortunately my back pain just isnt letting me do at the moment.

Finally our last orders will be taken for up to the weekend of Saturday 21st December to allow me a couple of days recovery to be able to enjoy Christmas with the family with hopefully a little less pain!

So please if you can book early to help me plan days and avoid disappointment. I hate letting people down and have always put in the extra hours as required but this time i think my health is taking over!

Hope you all understand and i want to thank everyone in advance for understanding and wish you all looking forward a fabulous Christmas!
