We have had an incredibly busy 2026 so far ✨️

Here is one of our set ups from last week:
📍 Location: United Reformed Church, Penwortham
💐 Event: Celebration of life
🍴 Order: Package 3 - Sandwiches, salad, crisps, potato salad, coleslaw, samosas, spring rolls, cod goujons, chicken skewers, cheese and onion quiche, chicken goujons, sausage rolls, pigs in blankets, school sponge cake, tiffin, flapjack, brownie.
Added extra: Apple pie and cream 🍎

Last week we had our first catering order for 2026 ✨

📍 Venue: New Longton Sports & Social Club
💐 Event: Celebration of life
🍴 Food: Package 2 - Sandwiches, salad, crisps, spring rolls, samosas, chicken drumsticks, quiche Lorraine, followed by lemon drizzle loaf cake.

We are already getting booked up for weekend events, we even have orders in for December!!

Wow! The response to our homemade Christmas cakes has been overwhelming ❤️

We have even had people who bought a cake for Christmas day, but have eaten it already and needed another one!

We now only have 3 large cakes and 1 small cake left. These will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. If you would like one of our last few remaining cakes please call/message me on 07986441301 or comment below.

Wow! What a fantastic turn out for Longton Carnival - Lancashire Winter Wonderland!
We had a very successful day, it was so lovely to see so many familiar faces ❤️

Happy Birthday to our eldest son, Elliott. 🎈
Family is at the heart of everything we do. Our boys are the reason why we work so hard in the crazy world of being a small business owner!

Elliott and his little brother Noah are the inspiration behind the name Pickle and Pudding. (Not that either of them would appreciate that being public knowledge!).

We will be responding to messages on Monday, have a wonderful weekend ❤️

Happy World Sandwich Day! 🥪

Did you know???

John Montagu, the 4th Earl of Sandwich, is credited with inventing the modern sandwich around 1762 because he wanted to eat meat between two slices of bread so he could eat with his hands while playing cards without getting his hands dirty!

The Earl was a keen gambler and didn't want to leave the card table to eat. He asked his servant for a piece of roast beef to be served between two slices of bread, a convenient way to eat with one hand. His gambling companions saw his meal and started asking for "the same as Sandwich," and the name stuck!
