Are you a passionate about hospitality and love creating great experiences and leading a team? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced restaurant manager to join our friendly team at Samlesbury Hall!
The Garden Room Eatery is a busy and popular destination serving everything from delicious breakfasts and lunches to afternoon teas, homemade cakes, coffees and specials. We welcome visitors, regulars, parties and group bookings — all with a warm Lancashire welcome! ❤️
🌟 About the role
This is a hands-on management position, leading our front-of-house operation and making sure every guest receives fantastic service.
You’ll be responsible for:
✨ Leading, supervising and motivating the front-of-house team
✨ Delivering exceptional customer service
✨ Welcoming regulars, visitors, parties and groups
✨ Maintaining high presentation and service standards
✨ Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally
✨ Working closely with the kitchen and management team
✨ Keeping the Garden Room running smoothly during busy services
👋 About you
We’re looking for someone who is:
✔️ Experienced in hospitality – supervisory experience is essential, managerial experience desirable
✔️ Friendly, approachable and professional
✔️ Passionate about hospitality and customer service
✔️ A natural people person
✔️ Organised, reliable and calm under pressure
✔️ Happy to get stuck in and lead by example
✔️ Familiar with EPOS systems
📅 Wednesday – Sunday
⏰ 8.30am – 4.30pm
🏖️ 5 days per week, including weekends and bank holidays
