We specialise in a whole host of events including; Family festivals, pantomimes, carnivals, workshops, Halloween gatherings, Santa's grottos. There's nothing we won't take on. We can offer a range of services, from festival programming to full event creation and delivery we can do it all! Start your quest at Freight Island, where our friendly host will hand over your all-important trail sheet. Then, step into the great outdoors at Mayfield Park and follow the clues hidden throughout—each one leading you closer to the ultimate prize... your very own Easter Egg!

Once you’ve cracked the trail, head back to Freight Island’s Plant Room to claim your Easter Egg—and don’t forget to get creative! Colour in your trail sheet for a chance to win FREE tickets to all the incredible family events at Freight Island in 2025 ✨

TEACH REX IS COMING TO FREIGHT ISLAND TOMORROW!! 🦖🦕

After receiving thousands of 5 STAR reviews for their events, the award-winning Teach Rex team are delighted to announce they will be heading BACK to Freight Island! ✨

The new show will delve into the jaws of one of the most iconic dinosaurs to ever roam the world – the TREX. Delivered by primary school teachers, the team will take the audience on an interactive, prehistoric journey, pinpointing misconceptions surrounding the TREX and the audience will learn how this iconic beast would have actually looked.

Teach Rex uses life-like dinosaurs to perform their show, teaching children about the anatomy and life of one the most mesmerising creatures that have ever roamed our planet. The show is teamed with effects, music and gives children and their families the chance to get up close and personal with these fantastic, realistic creatures. 🌏

Introducing upcoming programme of fantastic family activity for the next few months! Hosted at Kanteena, they’ve got lots of exciting activities to get stuck into...

They’ll be kicking things off with a Mothers Day Gift Workshop: Paint Your Portrait event this Saturday 29th March from 11am…

Children of all ages can join the event and will be taught accordingly to the ability.

The wonderful Shane Johnstone, their talented resident artist will teach you all the techniques you’ll need to paint your own portrait.

Plus you’ll make an extra little surprise gift on the day!

They then have the mesmerising !!

Followed by the Family Fiesta Easter Extravaganza!

If you’ve not seen it yet, we have a very exciting event on NYE, dancing you and the kids into 2025…

Raver Tots is the ultimate New Years Eve party playing the best in House, Garage & Drum and Bass, suitable for all ages!

Featuring a huge effects show throughout the event with dancers, performers, cold pyro, bubbles, festival sized confetti blasts, multi coloured lasers and lighting, parachute games, giant balloons, licensed bar and face painting!

The festive fun continues with lots more events and activities to do at Freight Islands's 'Winter Island'.

Theres still time to discover The Twilight Trail- an immersive light and sound show, transforming Mayfield Park into a dazzling city-centre winter escape.

The Twilight Trail is running through the week, all the way until the 31st December!!

And if you missed out on visiting Santa and his elves at the Grotto last weekend, don't worry because he'll be back this weekend, from Friday 20th!!

We’ve got a bunch of festive fun happening at Freight Island in the run up to Christmas! There’s loads to get stuck into and it’s all kicking off over the weekend.

Come and visit Manchester’s Festive Wonderland: Winter Island where Santa’s Grotto will be hosting a truly magical interactive Christmas Experience where the children will meet Father Christmas and his elves.
