We're proud to welcome Goverment Sound System – one of the UK's respected roots reggae, digital dub and bass sound systems from Preston, bringing their powerful sound and uplifting selections that have been shaking venues across the country.
Joining them are Lancashires own Phoenix Soundsystem, renowned for delivering earth-shaking basslines and festival-quality sound that you don't just hear... you feel!
🎵 A little history...
Dub music was born in Jamaica during the late 1960s and early 1970s, where pioneering producers transformed reggae tracks by stripping them back, adding echo, reverb and deep, rolling basslines. What started in Kingston's sound system culture went on to influence everything from drum & bass and jungle to hip-hop, electronic music and beyond. Dub is more than music—it's an experience.
