It’s been a little while since I last posted, but I’m still here, still surrounded by beautiful blooms, and excited to share what’s next for Wild Ivy Florist! ✨

As a one-woman business, I’ve decided to step away from making bouquets and focus on something I truly love—flower workshops and wreath-making for all seasons! 🌿💐

I’m now offering floral workshops for private parties, hen dos, bridal parties, corporate events, and team-building sessions—perfect for getting creative, having fun, and making something beautiful together. And if you love wreaths, I’ll be running seasonal wreath-making workshops throughout the year!

🌿 I’ve been very quiet on here even though Wild Ivy has been very busy throughout Christmas 🎄 We have also got another project on…….we are in the beginning of renovating our home ✨ it’s not for the faint hearted 🤣 !!

We wanted a property with lots of character and we certainly got that as it dates back to 1889 😁 We cannot wait to share our journey with you so head over to to follow us along the way, give us a thumbs up to keep us motivated and even just say hello 👋

Wild Ivy Florist is still here just moved to Poynton and will be working on more workshops coming soon but don’t forget I can come to you or if you want some bespoke blooms just get in touch 🌿

🌸 Caring for Your Fresh Flowers 🌸

We love the joy fresh flowers bring to your home! 💐

But remember, they are a perishable, natural product, so their lifespan can vary. Fresh flowers should last around 5-7 days with proper care, sometimes even longer!

🌸 How to make them last longer In a vase:

1. Trim stems at a 45° angle before placing them in water.
2. Change the water every 2 days and keep flowers away from direct sunlight, heat, and drafts.
3. Remove any leaves below the waterline to prevent bacteria build-up.

🌸 In Oasis/Floral Foam:

1. Top up with water after 24 hours of receiving every day check that the floral foam is not dry, if so add water to keep the flowers hydrated.
2. Place arrangements away from heat sources to avoid drying out.
3. Remove any flowers/ foliage that may be dead or wilting to avoid any bacteria. Feel free to replace with other flowers or greenery from the garden.

✨Each workshop costs £45, this includes all materials and festive refreshments! Carol from Wild Ivy Florist provides everything you need and guides you step-by-step to create your own beautiful Christmas wreath.

✨This is such a lovely evening/ afternoon whether you come on your own or with friends or family, it’s just a couple of hours of me-time and chance to get into the Christmas spirit.
