What is a Celebrant.
So many people look blanc when I tell them what I do .So I thought I’d explain.
I am the person that stands in front of the congregation at a wedding or funeral instead of a member of the clergy .
I am fully trained to officiate both weddings and funerals .
Firstly I get a call from the funeral director
I go and visit the grieving family to discuss if they want a celebration of life service or a more traditional service .I offer them a service with or without religious content and language.
We then discuss poems and music.
Lastly we have a long chat about the person. I ask for photographs to help me to make the service as personal as possible . We discuss hobbies, interests, what they were passionate about etc.
I then write the eulogy ( sometimes the family write it themselves)
The draft of the eulogy is sent back to the family for any alterations and approval .we discuss the tone / theme of the ceremony eg
One man loved Christmas so the mourners all wore Christmas jumpers .A young lady had loved 🌈 so we worked with that .
It is family led and there are no rules .
It’s an honour to play a part in someone’s send off .
I have officiated dozens of ceremonies , each one with different content.Each one bespoke .Best job in the world !

These are our Forget Me Not afternoon teas. There are two options available, contemporary and vintage. Prices are £9.95 or £11.95 per head.

£9.95 option...
-A selection of sandwiches on white and brown bread with various fillings (options given on booking)
-A baked scone with fruit jam and Cornish clotted cream.
-A variety of mini sweet treats including eclairs, mille feuille and macaroons.
-Artisan loose leaf tea presented in silk tea bags
-Napkins and cutlery
-Hire of bone china cups, saucers, plates and tea stands.

£11.95 option...
-A selection of sandwiches or bruschetta (options given on booking)
-A baked scone with fruit compote and Cornish clotted cream.
-A variety of mini sweet treats including tarte citron,raspberry brulee cheese cake, truffle chocolate brownie.
-Artisan loose leaf tea presented in silk tea bags.
-Napkins and cutlery
-Hire of bone china cups, saucers, plates and tea stands.

All options are inclusive of delivery and set up by one of our professionals to your home or venue and collection. No need to do the washing up! Leaving you foot loose with fancy tea.
