Bit of Sunday morning reading?! Ever since writing the Warne pod I’ve been keen to start writing a bit more & especially keen to be placed next to a kitchen makeover ad.

So when said they’d let me write a monthly column for their fancy pants new app, I of course had to tie the pod into my introduction in the July version of the mag

My brain is a mess which makes it even more remarkable they’re letting me write about whatever I like from next month & call it an ‘Opinion’, but I’m excited!

FA CUP WEEKENDER! Proper proud of the Pompey Live gang for putting on the first ever FA Cup weekender covering Portsmouth women & men.

We had such a laugh & it was lovely lovely chaos despite two games with weird levels of symmetry.

Also never have I seen Jake Smith & Jay Sadler drool like they did when they walked onto the gantry at Spurs.

Radio is the best.

What beautiful live chaos the first ever Big Holm Show was (and thank god won). Hope you enjoyed it if you watched live or were in the crowd!

The news about Doddie Weir was the news so many people were dreading - and the outpouring of love has shown how many non Scottish, non rugby fans were in awe of him and loved him.

The saddest news of one of the most wonderfully kind, gentle & funny people. I will never forget the moment he presented the matchball at Murrayfield in 2017, or a few weeks ago. I think he epitomised everything I love about Scotland. He was also a ridiculously good rugby player and I’m sad I never got to watch him.

It’s obvious how much his legacy will live on and how much he did for the fight against MND, but I’d say if ever there was a time to give a bit back to Doddie it’s probably now isn’t it - so take a look at his foundation & find a way to get involved because I think he deserves that at the very least x

P.S. red wine or Guinness with your roasts today for him pls

I’ve been in Venice for the last few days which has been nice. I know you don’t care about/already know how sexy it looks though so here are the s**t & silly parts that I thought would be more fun to show you.

Also, Venice is I think the greatest example of how beautiful humans once made the world, and now how much we’re ruining it.

On that cheery note I’m going back to eating squid ink pasta & drinking Bellinis
