The rain tried its best, but nothing could stop the fun! Smiles, laughs, and plenty of mess all round — it was brilliant!
Huge thank you to every single runner who turned up with the best sense of humour, and to our incredible volunteers who braved the wet and cold right alongside us. This event simply wouldn’t have happened without you!

👑🎉 PORTISHEAD CARNIVAL IS JUST ONE WEEK AWAY! 🎉👑

Saturday 13th is set to be a fantastic day for all 🎉

Watch the colourful carnival floats make their way along the High Street before heading onto the field for even more fun, entertainment, and activities. Then the celebrations return to the High Street to keep the party going! 🎭🎶

At The Phoenix, we won't be entering a float this year, but carnival has always been a huge part of our family history. 👑

From now until Carnival Day, we'll be sharing memories, photos, and stories from some of our past floats and our family's carnival journey through the years. We can't wait to look back at some amazing moments with you all!

And when the carnival is in full swing, join us at The Phoenix Bar for live music from the fantastic Stacey Charles. 🍻🎤

🌈 Tomorrow is the Carnival Colour Run! 🎉

We’re officially kicking off Carnival Week with an explosion of colour, music, and pure joy!
Spectators are welcome for just £1 at the gate – come and enjoy the colour madness, grab some food and drink on site, and soak up the atmosphere with everyone!

A huge thank you to every single person who gives their time, energy, and enthusiasm to make community events like ours possible. 💛
At Portishead Carnival, we’re 100% run by volunteers — from the committee who work behind the scenes all year round, right through to the amazing helpers on the day. Without you, there simply wouldn’t be a carnival!
This Volunteer Week we want to say a massive THANK YOU to all our current volunteers… and we’d love to welcome some new faces too! 🙌
The Portishead Carnival is happening on Saturday 13th June — and we’d be delighted if you could join the team and help make it another fantastic day for the town.

🎡 PORTISHEAD HIGH STREET SHOP OWNERS 🎡

The Portishead Carnival Shop Window Competition is back for 2026!

We’re inviting all high street shops to decorate their windows throughout June with a carnival-themed display and help bring colour, fun, and community spirit to the town. 🎭✨

🏆 A trophy will be awarded to the winning shop at the end of June.

Last year’s winners were SoleLution 👏 — who will take the title this year?
