We wanted to share an update on our 'Raising the Roof' fundraising campaign.

Currently, we have about 80% of the funds required to replace the roof of our hall.

We are delighted to be so close to being able to finally replace our roof, at long last!

Up next, we have Kinlochlaich Walled Garden 🌸🌷🌻

A large Nursery Garden Centre with an octagonal walled garden, with a huge variety of plants growing, and for sale.

There are many rhododendrons, trees, shrubs, azaleas and herbaceous plants.
Borders planted with many unusual plants, fruit trees and an ancient yew tree, as well as vegetables growing.

We are delighted to have two gardens, both part of the Scotland's Gardens Scheme, who have chosen our hall to benefit from donations received from visitors. 🌸🌻🌹

First up, we have Berandhu, which is a sheltered one-and-a-half acre coastal garden, offering striking views over Loch Laich to Loch Linnhe, Castle Stalker and the Morvern hills.

With natural rockeries, native trees, rhododendrons and azaleas, both providing colour spring and early summer, Berandhu is definitely worth a visit!

🏸 Badminton & Pickleball 🏸

Just one of the many events held at our fantastic hall!

Meeting on a Tuesday morning 10am to 12pm, playing badminton 10am to 11am and pickleball 11am to 12pm, with a quick cuppa and biscuits in between! ☕️🍪

We are mostly people returning to badminton after a number of years, and pickleball is new to us all so there are no experts!

Costs are £2 for either the badminton or pickleball hour, or £3 for both sessions.

We finish for the summer on 15th April 2025 and start back again in September - date will be confirmed on this page in due course.

Pop along to Appin Community Fire Station on the 29th March to get your car washed! 💦🧼🚗

This year's car wash will be held on Saturday 29th March at Appin Community Fire Station, to raise funds for the Firefighters Charity!

11am - 3pm

There will be refreshments available while your car is washed and all are welcome 😊🚗💦

🔨🪛 RAISING THE ROOF! 🪛🔨

As previously mentioned, our hall roof is sadly beyond repair 😔

As you can see from the photos below, we are in desperate need of a new roof to ensure the hall remains in use for events that are crucial to our community.

Any donation you can give, no matter how big or small, will be hugely appreciated and ensure we can get a new roof.
