🍕 COTTAGE PIZZAS TO THE RESCUE! 🍕🚨

A couple of Saturdays ago, we were just heading home from Poole after an event when, at 9:13pm, the phone rang.

It was the best man from a wedding.

Their pizza caterer had run out of pizzas, and they still had around 50 hungry guests waiting to be fed! 😳

“Is there any chance you can help?”

Luckily, the wedding wasn't too far off our route home, so we made a slight detour and headed straight over.

🚐 Call received: 9:13pm
🍕 Arrived: 9:46pm
🔥 Pizzas cooked and guests fed
🏁 Packing away: 11:15pm

Mission completed. ✅

This is exactly why we love what we do. Being able to step in at the last minute and help make sure someone's big day ends on a high is what it's all about.

And our favourite quote from one of the guests that night:

A typical day at Cottage Pizzas took an unexpected turn when a customer placed an order and said, "This one's for the harvest team, its a collection for around 10 minutes time.

We got the pizzas ready and boxed them as normal and waited by the gate, expecting a car or van to drive down the track

Instead, this stunning Fent rolled in to collect them! 🚜🍕

Safe to say it's the biggest takeaway vehicle we've served this week.

We're always proud to support our local farming community, especially during the busy harvest season. Wishing everyone a safe and successful harvest at North Farm Sunflowers, Pumpkins & Sweetcorn.

Not our best photo, as this was taken right at the end of the night during pack-down after a very busy service!

At this event, we served over 200 wood-fired pizzas in under 3 hours. We didn't pre-bake the bases—the pizzas were freshly rolled, topped, and cooked to order, giving every customer the full wood-fired experience.

A huge thank you to Beaulieu for having us. We had a fantastic evening and look forward to being back again in the near future!

🍕 One of our newest regular pop-up locations – Flack's Brewery, Romsey! 🍻

We first had the pleasure of catering at Flack's Brewery back in January for a private function. From the moment we arrived, we knew it was a fantastic venue with a great atmosphere.
Following that event, we were invited back for a trial pop-up, and we're delighted to say it was a success! We have now been approved to trade there on a regular basis.
A huge thank you to everyone at Flack's Brewery for the warm welcome and to everyone who came along to support us. We can't wait to be back serving our freshly made wood-fired pizzas on a regular basis.

What a fantastic weekend we had at the Wimborne Folk Festival at the beginning of June!

Our team was on site from early morning until after dark, serving freshly made wood-fired pizzas throughout the festival on both days.

It was especially rewarding to welcome so many returning customers over the weekend. Knowing that people enjoyed our pizzas enough to come back is the greatest compliment we could receive.

A huge thank you to the Royal Legion for having us and for securing our pitch again for next year's festival. We are already looking forward to returning.

It might just be with a different oven and setup... 🤫 Oops, I've said too much!

We’re a little behind on our posts!

This event took place back in December when we catered a company Christmas party. We served unlimited pizzas to their staff for two and a half hours.

With live entertainment and endless pizza, what better way to celebrate the year? 🎄🍕🎉
