There’s a lot to be said about Coronavirus. We’re tackling an enemy so corruptive with a massive impact on life and the future of our planet. The lives lost during this ongoing pandemic are without question the most serious for all of us to comprehend but then there follows some ghastly ramifications - lost living. Listening to BBC radio 5 this morning, an interesting discussion ensued regarding should the government further support what could be a temporary blip in the arts and culture of our country. The theatres, concerts, festivals etc. The decision was without question, these incredibly important facets of our everyday living need extra financial support. What also emerged from this in-depth discussion is will the lack of cultural activities be temporary or forever? It’s a sad fact that we all need to face up to!

Over the last few months I’ve gone forwards then backwards with people who’ve inferred they’re keen to take my offices over in Ashley Cross. I was so happy to think a rental was going through with a guaranteed tenant and then sadly we went into lockdown. Whilst this person who shall remain nameless is still more than welcome to take over when the government gives the 👍 up, I am still not sure whether he still wants it. The offices are broken down into 3 and it’s the ideal place to conduct a business whilst observing the guidelines. In other words in a month or so this amazing space with 2 parking spaces right in the middle of Ashley X is ideal for a small business to get back into the fold as a start up or to carry on in brand new premises. Anyone interested, please let me know. Stay safe X

One week ago we had the privilege of organising a special lady’s birthday party. We themed the room, arranged the flowers and served a superb barbecue all in the perfect location down by the sea at Branksome.

The latest 'Independent' breakaway group could be perceived as a plot to take the pressure off during this ludicrous Brexit uncertainty. Both the Conservative and Labour parties have lost a few of the less interesting politicians and it would seem that the media is concentrating on the jump away for this little group of rebels. It's still not answering what's happening on 29th March. As for recent 'jihadi lily' who thinks she should be allowed back into the UK, well thank goodness our Home Secretary, Sajid Javid, is sticking to his guns. Please forgive the pun! This clever, devious female, who is now on her third child, seems shocked that we're not keen to allow her back into the UK. Has she forgotten she left here at the age of 15 with her 2 mates to join the 'Underworld'? Now it's gone wrong...

I have to applaud the whole experience we received today Brasserie Blanc, Bournemouth it was exceptional. I know the weather was in our favour but the staff,wine and food were sublime and as a connoisseur of cuisine, can only highly recommend this fab establishment!

I’ve been commenting about Brexit recently and am pretty gutted as I think we all are with what’s not happenIng. I have the utmost respect for Mrs May, after all she wanted to stay in the EU. She took a massive gamble after our weak PM abdicated and lo and behold nearly 3 years later we have no answers about what is happening with our country. We’ve got the Irish problem, the freight, our passports and that’s not even touching the sides of what is actually going to happen. Squabbling, bemoaning and scrapping within the government and the shadow has simply got to stop and we NEED unification. We do have democracy but then again do we?

Had a lot of fun writing stuff about the huge concerns of the recent vote re Brexit, followed up with the crash for cash with the latest Prince Philip motor accident and even sent a good appraisal for McDonalds at Mannings Heath. Now, on a serious note I want to get caring, considerate people with a couple of bob in their pockets together to consider the plight of one little boy who has shown more strength than many to live through an illness that most would not be able to deal with. I want friends and business associates to show support for The Dorset Children's Foundation and talk to me about support for Mason. I’m dedicating my time for free to help this wonderful child get the equipment he needs to help him try to live and cope with the massive issues he encounters every day of his very young life.

The Dorset Children’s Foundation is an independent charity dedicated to improving the lives of sick and disabled children living within Dorset.
