🏆🌸 TWO MORE FINALIST AWARDS! 🌸🏆

I’m incredibly proud to say Milly’s Florist is now a finalist for Best Floristry Business AND Best Small Business 2026!(receive that one yesterday!)

Having already been lucky enough to win Best Florist in Dorset twice before, it still means just as much to have my hard work recognised. ❤️

Every tribute starts with me — I design it, build it and hand-carve it from scratch, often spending hours creating the shape before a single flower goes in. For those really big orders, I’m also fortunate to an amazing local florist Katie come in and help me with the flowering along with people training Katie-May 🌸
And we can’t forget all the hard work my mum does here. 😘

A lot of hard work goes on behind the scenes at my little workshop, so two more finalist places really do mean the world. 🏆🏆

💙 A very special final farewell 💙

These tributes were created for a much-loved son, brother and brother-in-law, who sadly passed away.
He had such a wonderful childlike spirit, so his family wanted his flowers to represent the things he loved and the memories that made him who he was. 🧸💙

This was a huge labour of love. I spent many hours building, shaping and carving the bespoke pieces from scratch myself before bringing each one to life with flowers. A massive thank you to Katie, who came in and helped me with all the flowering and to my wonderful Mum for all her hard work and help behind the scenes proper teamwork 😊

Every piece was personal, and it was an absolute privilege for us to create this final farewell for such a special gentleman.

Rest peacefully 💙🕊️

🌴☀️ HOLIDAY TIME! ☀️🌴

Just a little notice to all my lovely customers and followers. 💐

I will be finishing work on friday and then I’m off for a much-needed holiday with my hubby and friends. ❤️✈️

After what has been an incredibly busy and emotional few months, I’m really looking forward to taking some time out, switching off and recharging my batteries.

Please note, I will NOT be taking my work phone away with me. 📵
Any calls, messages or enquiries received while I’m away will be replied to once I return to work.

For once, I’m going to try my very best to completely switch off from Milly’s Florist and enjoy some proper rest, sunshine and quality time. 🌞🍹

Thank you, as always, for your continued support, patience and understanding. It really does mean the world to me. 💐❤️

This is a sad one for me to do, some of the stuff I have built and craved out has been pretty sad but at the same time a lovely Challenge Today is the day to start flowering some of these arrangements and bring them to life. With the help of my mum and Katie these are going to look amazing 😊

💙 Flowers for my brother David 💙

Yesterday we said our final goodbye to my half-brother David, and these were the flowers I had the honour of making for him.

I’ve made thousands of funeral tributes over the years, for so many families, but when you’re making them for someone you love yourself, every single flower feels different. 💔

Every stem was placed with love, every tribute made with memories, and although it was incredibly emotional, it meant so much to me to be able to do this one last thing for you.

You may have been my half brother by blood, David, but there was nothing half about you.

I kept my promise to you right until the end, and yesterday we gave you the send-off you deserved.

Rest peacefully, David.

It’s always such an honour to create something that represents a real part of someone’s life.

This bespoke AFC Bournemouth tribute was created for a gentleman who had been a devoted Cherries fan all his life. ❤️🖤

Football can be so much more than a game — it’s the memories, the match days, the celebrations, the disappointments and years of supporting the club you love. We wanted his final floral tribute to reflect that passion and bring a little piece of something he loved so dearly to his farewell.

Handmade with love, care and respect. ❤️🖤🌸
