There’s so much thought, time and planning that goes into your Wedding Day, and we know that it’s all the little details that really mean the most.

The little personalised touches here and there, whether that be the place settings, or even a little bag of treats to take home to your four-legged friend (you know who you are!). It’s these details that make your Wedding Day unique, and remind us as to who the day is all about.

The secret to a memorable wedding welcome? It's all about the details — a warm smile, a glass of bubbles and a mouthwatering bite to begin the celebration.

We're committed to creating memorable bites that bring people together and make every gathering special.

Take our charred yellow courgette and feta tartlets for instance - simple, yet delicious ingredients. Our lamb scrumpets provide guests with that herby crunch, followed by the warming pulled lamb. And our honey-mustard chipolatas provide a sweet, comforting familiarity. All crafted with precision and thoughtfulness by our chefs.

There’s something truly special about creating small bites that bring people together.

Our hickory-smoked tomato and aubergine tartlets are made with care, sourcing the best Isle of Wight tomatoes and letting simple ingredients shine through thoughtful presentation. Every tartlet is a little flavour-packed moment of comfort and warmth.

Canapés from the sea 🩵

Again, it’s all in the little details with AKO Dining.

We brought a touch of the coast to K&A’s special day at Abbots Court Rural Retreat & Wedding Venue, with our mini Mudeford crab quiches. Garnished with micro-red amaranth and served on our mother-of-pearl trays.

Reminiscing on the Open Day at Abbots Court has made us even more excited for the 2025 Wedding Season ahead! ✨

We are in the middle of Wedding Tastings at the moment, which gives us the opportunity to spend some quality time with our lovely couples, whilst perfecting their dishes for their Special Day. It’s a lovely time to catch up after the Christmas buzz, and ramp up the excitement that THIS is the year they get married!

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Thank you to all of our lovely clients and wedding couples who put their trust in us to deliver the AKO experience, and what a year 2024 was. Tears of happiness were shed, many laughs were had and new friends were made.

Thank you also to our suppliers for consistently delivering top quality produce and products, we couldn’t do what we do without you.

To everyone on here who has supported us through liking, commenting and sharing us, we see you and it truly does have more of an impact than you may know.

And finally, to our incredible family members and friends who are always there to boost us up, get stuck in, and bare with us being MIA during the busy season! We feel so incredibly lucky to have the team and support network that we do, and they are the ones who make AKO what it is.

A little throwback to spooky season when we had the pleasure of serving a two-course themed dinner for C&K!

The main brief was a seasonal menu that wasn’t too heavy, with a little homage to Halloween. And we provided exactly that. In true AKO style, we were so swept up in service, that we didn’t stop to photograph the dishes!

Paired with linen, plenty of spooky decorations and all of the guests in full fancy dress.. it was definitely an evening full of fun!

We particularly loved the hanging witches hats and candles, and a shoutout to the roller skating couple 🕯️
