It is with a heavy and sad heart that we are announcing that we are now fully closed and will no longer be taking any party or catering orders at Heather’s Tearoom.

What started as a memorial to my lovey Grandmother who believed that there wasn’t much that couldn’t’ be solved with a cup of tea and chat evolved into much more and we will forever be grateful for that.

We have welcomed many wonderful people into the Tearoom, either as daily customers or as visitors for baby showers, mini & me afternoon teas, weddings, life celebrations, birthdays, art classes, networking events and many more and we are so very grateful to each and every one of you.

Sadly we have to make a decision with a business head and not with our emotions so the time has come to stop stretching myself so very thin and let go of Heather’s Tearoom.

We have a couple of bookings in June that we will of course honor and The Care Curious Hub will continue to run every Wednesday 10am-2pm for the foreseeable future.

This week at the Care Curious Community Hub, PramaLife Manager Sue Warr delivered a Dementia Awareness Session. We were joined by team members from The Hadley Practice, care coordinator team, The Red Cross, Service Coordinators , Teresa and Jason, Parkstone Chiropractic and Wellness and Eve completing a study with Bournemouth University.
If you're interested in finding out more about the types of dementia and how we can better support people living with dementia, she will be back delivering another session at Care Curious on July 2nd.
