Ponty Big Bang

After last years Big Bang we sent out a survey to those who attended, and made it public via our page asking for feedback to make the event better this year.

Thanks to your feedback we have made improvements to this years show!

This includes:-
Local Food options with Zucco - Pontypridd joining us for the first time!
More space - we have made some changes to the lay out to improve access around the fair and food areas and avoid queues merging together
Quicker exit - We have made changes to the layout for this year to allow a quicker and easier exit into the town centre, to the train station and Sardis Road car park.

We have also listened and held the ticket prices for a 5th year in a row, despite the prices increasing dramatically over this period!

We thank you for your feedback and look forward to asking for your feedback again after this years show to continue to improve the Big Bang experience for everyone.

Because every penny made from the Big Bang is spent supporting local charities and good causes this year we were able to make a sizeable donation to Save The Pop Factory.

Your ticket purchases and donations every year make this possible - so thank you for your continued support!

Did you know that Ponty Big Bang is put on by Pontypridd & Rhondda Round Table and not the local council?

It is not run for profit, and all proceeds are returned to charities and other organisations doing good across RCT.

The Roundtable is made up entirely of volunteers, giving up their time to put on a show for RCT.

Make sure to buy your tickets to show support and raise money for charities right here in RCT!

This years Big Bang is set to be our BIGGEST ever!
If you run a business then you have the chance to get involved! We are welcoming applications from businesses to have stalls at the event including:-

Food & Drink vendors
Face Painters
Small Craft Retailers
Sweet Treats

WOW! You are all amazing! We have seen record sales for our first 5 days of tickets being on sale - so a massive thank you to everyone who has already got their tickets for this years Big Bang!

Without you we can't put on the event and we can't continue to support charities and organisations across RCT. Every penny we raise from the event goes into projects here in RCT.

Big shout out to all the members of Pontypridd & Rhondda Round Table. No sitting around soaking up their nominations in the sun though, planning for this years Big Bang in Ynysangharad Park is already under way

Here is a sneak peak at our next few events.

The fireworks never feel real until the end of October but did you know planning and organising starts in April. With several new members this is a chance to take a walk around the park and run through what needs to be done on the days leading up to the event and we never need an excuse to grab a bite to eat afterwards.
May the 4th sees us hosting our AGM and this year we are hosting it in Ynysangharad Park with a family fun day for the members, prospective members and anyone with a connection to the table. Drop us a message if you're interested in joining us on the day.
Our May social sees us Quad Biking with members from other local tables.
