Well… we are starting September off with a BANG! 💥🍹🎶

This Saturday, we’re rolling into The Meadows in Tavistock and getting those cocktails flowing at the Down By The River Music Festival! 🙌

And trust us… this is going to be a GOOD one! 😍

A whole day and evening filled with amazing music, fabulous stalls, delicious food, plenty of drinks and an atmosphere you won’t want to miss! 🎵✨🍔🍹

So, grab your favourite people, get yourselves down to Tavistock and come find us at the bar! 👀🍸

We’ll be shaking, stirring and pouring all day long… and possibly having a little dance behind the bar too! 💃😂

☂️ “What’s the one with the little umbrella? I’ll have one of those!” 🍹

Honestly… we hear this more than you’d think! 😂

Because let’s face it… you drink with your eyes first.

Bright. Bold. Colourful. Layered to perfection… and topped with the famous little cocktail umbrella. What’s not to love?

This retro classic has been stealing the show for years, and it’ll always have a place on our menu.

Originally known as S*x on the Beach… but we thought we’d give it a cheeky little Fillies & Fizz makeover…

Introducing… The Hanky Panky! 🤪

It’s definitely more entertaining when someone confidently strolls up to the bar and says…

“Can I have a Hanky Panky please?”

Ermmm… yes you can, sir… coming right up! 😂

And then there’s the umbrella…

Some of you leave it proudly in your drink for the full experience.

Some tuck it behind an ear… (it’s usually the men… don’t ask us why 🤣).

Some wear it in their hair like it’s this season’s must-have accessory.

And then there’s always one bloke who carefully hands it back over the bar with…

“Thought you’d want this back.”

No, Dave… it’s yours now. Wear it with pride. ☂️😂

Made with peach schnapps, vodka, orange juice, cranberry and a splash of grenadine, this colourful masterpiece isn’t just thrown together…

It takes a steady hand and a careful pour to create those beautiful layers.

It’s fruity.

It’s fun.

It’s a little bit nostalgic.

And for just a few sips… you’ll feel like you’ve been transported to a beach bar somewhere hot instead of standing in a field in Devon! 🌴🍹

There really is nothing better than hearing how much you loved having Fillies & Fizz at your wedding day. From the first enquiry right through to the last drink poured, we want the whole experience to feel friendly, organised and completely stress-free — because you’ve got enough to think about when planning a wedding! 💍🥂

And then comes the BEST bit… seeing the bar looking beautiful, the drinks flowing and our couples and their guests having the absolute time of their lives! ❤️

A village hall in the heart of Kingsand came ALIVE yet again to celebrate the wedding of the gorgeous Lorna & Chris! 🥂💍✨

And this wedding has officially won the Fillies & Fizz award for the most shots consumed during the wedding meal on ONE table! 😂🥃

That table was very quickly crowned the PARTY TABLE early doors… and they certainly lived up to the name! 🍾🔥

Guests worked their way through the cocktail menu like cocktails were going out of fashion, whilst we kept everyone cool in the sunshine with plenty of b**r, ale & c***r flowing! 🍺🍹☀️

The village hall had been completely transformed into the most beautiful wedding venue, with romantic draping, gorgeous blooms, twinkling lights and an array of exciting things to keep everyone entertained.

And Lorna & Chris really did spoil all their favourite people! ❤️

What a day, what a party and what an incredible atmosphere!

Thank you so much for choosing Fillies & Fizz to be part of your special day. We absolutely loved celebrating with you! 🥂🐴✨
