We’re proud to reflect on a record-breaking 2026 Torbay Half Marathon & 10K.

Nearly 4,000 participants took to the streets of Torbay on Sunday 20 September, making this the largest edition of the event to date and another significant milestone in its continued growth.

This year also saw the introduction of a new route, showcasing more of the English Riviera and taking participants through Torquay Marina, Princess Gardens and along Princess Pier.

Behind the event is a huge network of people, from our team and volunteers to sponsors, partners, local businesses and the wider Torbay community, all playing an important role in bringing the event to life.

We’re grateful to everyone who contributed to this year’s event and helped make it such a memorable day across Torbay.

On Sunday 20 September, we’ll welcome a record 3,600 participants to the English Riviera for this year’s Torbay Half Marathon & 10K.

Following the event’s successful return in 2025, which saw 2,900 participants take to the start line, this year’s field marks another significant milestone for the event.

With participants travelling from across the UK, thousands of spectators expected along the seafront and both routes showcasing some of Torbay’s most iconic locations, it’s set to be a big day for the area.

The continued growth of the event reflects the popularity of mass participation running across the region and we’re proud to bring participants, volunteers, partners, sponsors and the wider community together for another event in Torbay.

We’re pleased to welcome Chery Torbay as the Official Vehicle Sponsor of the Torbay Half Marathon & 10K, taking place on Sunday 20 September.

The partnership will see a Chery vehicle lead both events on the day, alongside a presence for the Chery Torbay team within the Event Village at Paignton Green.

With an anticipated 4,000 participants and more than 26,000 spectators expected across the event, the partnership provides Chery Torbay with a strong opportunity to connect with the local community following the opening of its new Paignton showroom.
