📣📢Notice to All📢📣
Just a quick one to say things have to go on hold for a period of time sadly with Bellissima World of Weddings.
I have been waiting for news on a heart condition but more importantly now, I'm currently in hospital waiting to play roulette tomorrow with an operation on my toe, the roulette being if I wake up afterwards with or without it?!
So there may be a period of quiet spells for the foreseeable future but I am hoping to return sooner rather than later in some sort of capacity.
So please stay tuned and stay connected as I will be back, I promise! Many thanks and much love to everyone.

Ok, so here's a bit of a personal ask!!! I need some ideas for a 'minimoon' for myself and my husband as newly weds. Somewhere really special in Devon or Cornwall but that won't cost the earth (as we're a bit skint after the big day lol 😂). And if we have an amazing time I will be posting a supplier shout out for the venue/hotel/location too ofc!!! But I need honest thoughts please!!?

It's days like this that makes me feel so productive! Pretty skies, a variety of blues; such a great boost of serotonin for the soul!!
Having Seasonal Affective Disorder, this kind of weather is such a blessing and it just makes anything and everything looks so nice too.
You may think this would be a great time to go and look at those venues you long to book for your big day, and yes, you would be right!
However, before you book your venue, take a look around on a grey or rainy day as well before you pay any deposits. Given that we live in Britain and the weather tends to sway more towards the cloudy/grey/rainy kind, you need to know what those pictures will be like and what kind of coverage you will need to budget for, especially if you want an outside wedding.
Also, go inside and see what light levels are like on a grey day; if it's just not viable to be outdoors, you need to make sure your pictures won't be too dark indoors.
Remember, you need to plan for all eventualities from the start and you need to think of what is most important when it comes to venues, photos, entertaining space, etc. Don't make rash decisions before you do your research; it could prove costly in the long run.

📣🌟Superstar DJ Shoutout🌟📣
Soooooooo, I'd like you all to meet the amazing gentleman who made our wedding reception the absolute BEST ever and who performed miracles in the way of getting even the most 'reluctant to dance' guests up on their feet and enjoying the music!!!!🕺🏻
Our DJ, Mr Rich Vybz, is the absolute best thing since sliced bread!!!😎 We are a very 'eclectic' couple when it comes to our taste in music; you could say we're the complete polar opposites in what we listen to. And as you may guess it becomes very difficult to not annoy one another when we wanna crank the volume up while we do the housework, for example!!
But Rich did our music taste such justice!!! We sent a Spotify list of songs we would like to be played that he could dip into in between requests from guests and he truly delivered!!!
We had the ties around heads rocking out to metal, we had the ravers reliving their 20's down town to the happy hardcore (that was me, I was she!🤟🏻) and we had the youthful cohort satisfied with a mix of anything and everything they love from today's musical offerings!!! (I genuinely think I was taken back to my hay days a good 20 years ago, just a shame my body didn't appreciate it the following day!🤣😂)
He was kind, respectful and polite and has such an amazing talent of catering for one and all, hand on heart it was the best night I've had in decades!! To top it off, everyone else said it was an absolute banger of a night!!
I will be recommending Rich to all my lovely couples as I don't think there's even a wake that wouldn't be livened up by this incredible DJ!!
Thank you Rich, so much. You absolutely MADE our night!🤟🏻🥳🎉❤️

📣Venue Spotlight📣
I really want to say a HUGE thank you to Nadine and co at the Loft in Plymouth where I had my special day on the 7th March!

After a good few months of planning, the day was an absolute blast and everything was amazing!

Nadine and co made sure things went smoothly and provided some absolutely gorgeous food (although I can't say that for sure as I didn't even touch a morsel!) and catered so well to our guests who had intolerances, allergies and other dietary requirements.

Also, Nadine took on board my neuro spicy quirks and needs for organisation and me having to ask questions repeatedly until I was satisfied that things were right and that I understood everything.

Our guests loved the venue as much as we did and the celebrations were truly amazing, it was exactly how I had planned it in my head and that fulfilled all my spicy needs!!

I'm so grateful to the team at the Loft for their hard work and hope to be working with you again soon!

So, as you all know, I like to shout out to suppliers who I think go above and beyond to be inclusive and accessible and I've mentioned this amazing supplier before for such credentials.

But I want to sing the praises of this absolutely fantastic photographer📸 gentleman and now friend as he really did an incredible job at my very own wedding last week!!!💒❤️👰🏻

Jamie rocked up early to the venue and got all his lighting and angles worked out prior to guests turning up, he was discreet during our ceremony but managed to capture the most candid moments at the best angles and he was really helpful in guiding us through shots of groups we specified to capture. And considering how little our party listened, I was amazed we got any lol!!

But Jamie also took us aside and captured intimate moments between myself and my new husband and these pictures actually make me love myself for once! I have body dysmorphic disorder (BDD) amongst other MH issues and I hate seeing any pics of myself normally. But not in these!!!

Jamie has such a talent for taking amazing, candid, spur of the moment images which capture all the lil details most may miss; he truly is a skilled artisan of his trade!

He also comes up with some incredible ideas on how to get shots of guests at the prime of enjoyment 🎉🥳and how to capture groups shots that don't feel staged!!

I genuinely cannot thank this man enough and he will forever be at the top of my suppliers list for photographers!!! Thank you so much Jamie, you truly are an absolute legend! 🤟🏻❤️⭐📸

So, I got married on Monday and we had our reception last night. Now, as a planner you meet some special suppliers who you can work with to give your couples the best day ever. But as a bride, I was so blessed to know these suppliers and be able to have them as part of my own wedding. Our day was absolutely made because of the ones we chose and I couldn't be happier! So I want to do a huge shout out to said suppliers and they are definitely top of my list to direct my couples to!!
Firstly, a massive shout out to Swirls & Pearls Cakes, this amazing lady not only gave us a beautiful and tasty cake, but made a gorgeous figurine of our furbaby to go on the top too!!! Melted my heart!!!
And then we have who I think hands down is the best photographer I've ever met!! Jamie Webb Photography. Jamie was just absolutely awesome, so attentive, took the best shots ever and we were so comfortable around him that everyone asked us if we'd been friends for years prior!!! I cannot recommend him highly enough, he was key in making everything go so smoothly!!! I'm so grateful!
Next, our absolutely gorgeous celebrant, Michelle Parfitt Celebrant!! Michelle absolutely made our ceremony, it was so personal to us and she really made everyone laugh and smile when talking about us and helped calm my nerves so well!!
And finally, I want to say a HUGE thank you to Absolute Chocolate Fountains for providing the most essential part of the party!!! Thank you Katy and your incredible assistant who did his job so incredibly well last night. Such a lovely!!! Everybody loved it and it went down a treat!!!
An amazing celebration was had by all and I can't thank you all enough!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
