Sense and Sensibility 2026; I thought it was lovely, visually enchanting, soft and worn fabric and sets, acres of muslin and lovely Dartmoor, plentiful petticoats, not an iron in sight. Lots of loose hair and shirtsleeves visible, ladies waistcoat with buttons on the right - costume designer knew what she was doing :-)
Loved the London Ball scenes - and Fiona Shaw as Mrs Jennings was a standout for me.
Cannot comment on deviations from the novel as there was no functional hearing loop available at Plymouth Arts Cinema, yet again. 🙄🙄
