In this video, not only will you uncover the unexpected journey our protagonist, Spyke, found himself undertaking, you will meet Aubrey Mathis, a naturalised Slovakian citizen and American English teacher. Aubrey, after hearing the devastating news about the Ukrainian crisis, took it upon himself to independently fund his own relief effort to assist Ukraine and its people in any way he can. Spyke & Aubrey shuttled humanitarian supplies from Bratislava into Ukraine and delivered them to , an independent organisation based inside the country. You will meet and , two members of a larger team dedicated to bringing aid to the people of Ukraine and who are still working tirelessly around the clock. What began as a first-time overseas holiday with the aim of meeting fellow travellers and listening to the stories soon turned into a truth-seeking, humanitarian effort for a nation suffering from an unjust war, which is still ongoing.
