CHRIS SIMMONDS!!! What an honour and a privilege it was to have him down in Plymouth! He came armed with the full plethora of musical treats that we knew he would. A phenomenal set which weaved though different moods and vibes and ticked every single box. 2.5 hours went by far too quickly!! Not only a master of his craft, but an all round top guy.

FOURJAK - Simply excellent! brought some sublime funky goodness, it was a joy to have him back and playing for us again. He never fails to deliver!

Massive thank you to Sammy Jo, Deeby, J***y and crew for getting the party started in the courtyard in the daylight hours 🙏 ❤️

And a HUGE thank you to all that came and partied with us and to all the staff at Cosmic Kitchen, the venue that we look forward to visiting every single time. The best people, staff and the best vibes you are ever likely to find anywhere. Gabriela Evangelou and Lucia Evangelou havw built something really special!

A LIFETIME OF HOUSE - 3 DECADES DEEP! (Pt-1)

In 1990 , while BUFS and J***y_5 were 8 years old and playing in the street with friends, Chris Simmonds was already producing, pressing and selling his own vinyl releases on his own record label establishing himself on the world stage.

Here we have a small selection of the numerous productions Chris released during the decade of the 90s.

🚨 New Release!! 🚨 Very happy to have a new track that is available for Pre Order now ( exclusive) on the amazing label ! Its been one of my favourite labels for a long time and has some of my fav artists on there, so its an honour to have a track released on the label. Hope you dig! 🙏 ❤️

Only had a few digital releases very early on in the year in 2025 so Im happy they did quite well! 😀 2025 main effort was getting the Vinyl album done, and also managed to get my first play on BBC radio! So im very happy with the years' musical fruits all in all! 2025 also saw Housewerk become a monthly fixture down here in Plymouth, which has been great 🥰 massive thank you to and for the amazing work you do and for having me!

Once again, thank you to the labels that have released my music, and to all the people that have bought, played, charted and shared etc, it means a great deal!! Gonna try and get alot more digital music out in 26. Let's go! 🙏 ❤️ 💋

On Friday 28 November, we are delighted that joining us, we have the one and only Ross Whisper!

Ross Wilson’s DJ journey started when he became a resident every Thursday night at the legendary Moles club in Bath, where he played an eclectic mix of Hip Hop, Acid House, Punk Rock and Reggae alongside live acts which included iconic bands such as Oasis, Radiohead and Supergrass.

After the peak era of the “Superclub” came to a natural decline in the early 2000s, Ross
retired Karanga to start some of Bath and Bristol’s most successful weekly club nights of
the ‘00s-‘10s including ‘Filth’, ‘LIT’, ‘Scandal’ and ‘LUXX’, where he’d master his DJ skills by playing 4hr sets, five nights in a row, every week.

Following the pandemic, Ross decided to focus his DJing style to concentrate on a blend of uplifting disco-inspired House music. With residencies for the Soho House group and Estelle Manor, alongside guesting for global brands such as Mercedes, Google, Spotify and Reddit, the past few years have seen him light up the dance floors of Ibiza, New York, London, and at the "Wishing Well" stage at the iconic Glastonbury Festival.

For the 2025 season Ross was offered a DJ residency with iconic club night ‘Back To Mine’ at the legendary Pikes in Ibiza, where he played alongside some
of the biggest names in House music each month from May to October.

As a producer His debut track ‘THINK’ quickly gained radio play from various specialist stations including BBC Introducing, who subsequently requested two 10 minute Guest Mixes from Ross
which were broadcast in February and July. In April 2025, after hearing Ross play the track
in one of his London club sets, it was personally chosen by DJ Spoony as ‘Record Of The Week’ to play every night on his show The Good Grove for BBC Radio 2, the UK's most listened-to radio station (13.6M weekly listeners).

Its an honour and a privilege to have Ross join us at House-Werk at Cosmic sessions, a rare treat that should definitely not be missed!
