Highlights of my 2026 season so far:

- Coordinating ‘s own wedding celebrations on the beautiful Isle of Wight

- Supporting colleagues with stunning weddings at Kew Gardens, RHS Wisley and Northbrook Park

- Executing a truly memorable wedding at a client’s family home, surrounded by their historic walled gardens and beautiful grounds

And the season isn’t over yet – I still have a couple more celebrations at the end of this month and into September.

I’m also really looking forward to being a guest at a family wedding, where I can relax and enjoy the celebrations!

When booking a food truck for your evening celebrations remember:

- They still need to know guests’ dietary requirements
- Check if they need power
- Are they able to access your chosen location?
- Will they provide all necessary napkins, plates and cutlery?
- Will they be around at the end of the evening to clear up any associated litter?

I have had the absolute pleasure of working alongside A & J and their families over the past few months, creating their beautiful English country garden wedding.

Hosted at A’s family home, amongst the walled gardens and orchard; we really wanted to show off the spectacular surroundings. The Tower Tap Room in the 16th century turrets, was a personal highlight.

It is always an honour to be asked to plan a client’s wedding, even more so when you’re transforming their private homes and estates into weekend wedding venues.

I cannot wait to share more of this very special day with you.

Make sure that you consider all weathers when planning a celebration in England.

With the weather (usually) being unpredictable – you want to make sure that you have contingencies in place to enhance your guests’ experience.

This summer it has been about protecting people from the heat and the sun – providing extra refreshments, fans and shade.

A little consideration in the planning stages can make all the difference to your guests’ experiences.

Why have a cocktail hour?

- It’s a great way to integrate your evening guests into the celebration

- It allows people time to re-group after the meal, before the evening party begins

- You can use this time to incorporate a different vibe or style of entertainment

- If you need to move space or turn a space around, it keeps guests entertained whilst your suppliers do this

- If it coincides with golden hour, you can have some time with your photographer capturing the light, whilst you’re not rushing parts of your day

- You get to include your personality and choose a few of your favourite cocktails to be served

Event season means that I spend a lot more time in my car without my little ones.
