🚨🦷 URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM GRANNY MULLETS 🦷🚨

THE WISDOM TOOTH HAS DECLARED WAR.
And unfortunately… the wisdom tooth is winning. 😭😂

Granny Mullets will sadly be CLOSED TODAY because I’ve been absolutely floored by the most horrific toothache from my wisdom teeth.

I genuinely tried to convince myself I could battle through it… but when you’re questioning your entire existence before 7am, serving bacon rolls probably isn’t the best idea. 🫠😂

So, after a very reluctant surrender, I’ve had to admit defeat and close the doors for today. 😭

I’m SO sorry to everyone who was planning on popping in for their breakfast, coffee or sweet treat today. ❤️

Hopefully I can get this angry little bastard of a tooth sorted ASAP and return to normal service before it completely ruins my life. 😂🦷

Massive Shout Out 👏🏼

After a stressful few days with our shop shutter completely giving up on us, I’m absolutely delighted to say we’re finally sorted! 🙌🏼

A massive thank you to the guys at Kay Garage Doors for coming out today and getting us sorted! 👏🏼🔧

They were brilliant from start to finish — professional, friendly and got the job done when we really needed it. After having a few people out looking at the problem, these guys came through and got us back up and running. ❤️

I honestly couldn’t recommend them enough — if you’re ever needing anything shutter or garage door related, give Kay Garage Doors a shout!

Thank you again guys, you’ve saved our bacon! 😂❤️

We’ll be back open tomorrow, Saturday 9am–3pm! 🥓☕️🍳

🔧 A LITTLE SHUTTER UPDATE FROM GRANNY MULLETS… 🔧

Well… the stubborn shutter has officially won this round! 😂🔒

We’ve had FOUR different people out today trying to get to the bottom of it, and unfortunately we’ve now found out that the motor has completely packed in. 😩

The good news is… we’re doing everything we possibly can to get it sorted! 🙏

We’re currently waiting to hear if we can squeeze in a repair first thing tomorrow morning 🤞🏻 so we’re keeping everything crossed that we’ll be back behind the counter, firing up the coffee machine and feeding you lot again ASAP! ☕️🥓🍰

We’ll keep you all updated as soon as we know more. 💙

🚨 GRANNY MULLETS UPDATE — WE’VE BEEN SHUTTERED! 😭🔒 🚨

Unfortunately, our shop shutter has decided it’s had enough and has jammed 3/4 of the way closed 😩

There is still electrical power to the shop, but there’s no power/activity getting to the shutter motor, and despite trying our best, we’ve had no luck getting it fixed tonight.

So sadly, GRANNY MULLETS WILL BE CLOSED TODAY — THURSDAY 13TH AUGUST 💔

We’re absolutely gutted, especially because we know you lovely lot are expecting your breakfasts, coffees & treats! 🥓☕️🍰

🙏 WE NEED YOUR HELP! 🙏

Does anyone know a shutter engineer/electrician who could come and have a look at it as soon as possible?

Or perhaps you’ve had a similar problem and know someone reliable who could help us get the shutter back up and running?

Due to having a charity event today for a cause that’s very close to our hearts and being quiet, we’ll be closing early at 1:30pm to attend.

Sepsis is one of the biggest killers out there and awareness still needs raised. Oor Lea does a smashing job keeping that awareness going, and today is a final hoorah for oor Elaine, who we sadly lost to sepsis 💜
