Matt was a founding member of the legendary ‘Hippy Cowboys’, the team that brought such musical heavy weights as John Powers, Otis Gibbs, Sarah Beth Tusec, Luther Russell, Peter Bruntnell and Indigo Moss (to name but a few) to The Pilton Village Hall venue. Matt has been investing his time in nurturing bands and artists both on a local and national level for the past 5 years and regularly scours the county’s bars, clubs and festivals in search of new, exiting and ‘alt’ musical talent. He is also the owner of some fine looking body art, and if asked politely he may expose himself to you. Steve Hiller aka ‘Dolphin Boy’. Surfer and avid collector of all that is musically ‘alt’ and on occasion spotted on the decks as one of the resident DJ’s at The Pilton Village Hall venue. Steve brings to the team an entrepreneurial flare and a thorough and methodical business head. He is also our go to guy for all of our on line needs. It is said that Steve was born with sand from the beaches of Devon between his toes. Doug Powell aka ‘Daddy Silver Fox’. Anglo American, alt-folk musician, surfer and wanna be ranch hand Doug shares his love for alt-county and alt-folk with his friends at ‘Three Sticks Productions’. Having spent the past 20 years in and out of bands both either as a musician or as part of the road crew he has an ear for what is hot or not on the alt-music scene. Doug is keen to open up the doors to quality and diverse acts to come and play in Devon. He also is the owner of a fine selection of vintage cowboy shirts and tweed jackets and is a stickler for time keeping and quality.
